We stayed the holiday weekend at the Junipine Resort for the first time. We have visited Sedona many times but this was our first stay in the Oak Creek canyon area of Sedona. The resort at first glance is not we expected, but once we were checked in and may our way around the property we were pleasantly surprised! Our room number 31 was very spacious and had all the extras. My daughter stayed in the loft which she loved and were enjoyed the fireplace and comfortable den area. The grounds were exceptional with the views of the Oak Creek Canyon and the stream running through the property were wonderful. The property is about 10 min north of the city of Sedona, very nice to be away from the crowds of the holiday weekend. Be sure and take the hike around the property, great walk! Sedona is a very special place, and the Junipine Resort is a great way to enjoy the best of Sedona!

Room Tip: We had a nice view of the canyon, some rooms have a hot tub as well!

We are fortunate to have 2.5 acres of creek frontage, and one of the most wooded and scenic locations in the state of Arizona. I’m glad you were able to enjoy the seclusion and the grounds along with the various amenities of your creekhouse. Sedona is a special place, and we appreciate your patronage.

My husband and I booked to stay at Junipine Resort for the final night of our much anticipated road trip round Northern Arizona. We were given No 45 which was perfect in every way. Although it was the most expensive of the nine hotels we had stayed in, it was worth every dollar! Check in was smooth and the staff were lovely. Maybe, the Internet connection was patchy but I was able to do my online flight check in with no trouble. We ate at the restaurant twice and although the service was slow it did not affect our enjoyment, and I can recommend the pancakes for breakfast!! We have already decided that we will return to explore Sedona and have chosen Junipine Resort for a week's stay next time. It was a perfect end to a brilliant road trip, thank you everyone at Junipine!

We love #45 also, as it has one of the best views on property. Thank you for dining with us at The Table at Junipine and we appreciate your constructive comments. We have a brand new menu for the fall season (but the pancakes are always available). We look forward to seeing you in the near future.

It was a girls weekend that took us up to Junipine. LOVED the rooms but loved the property Junipine is on. We enjoyed the forest from our patio deck, and walked down to the creek. It is so lush and peaceful it was hard to leave. I searched many places and this was the best value if you are looking for more than a bed. The kitchen, fireplace, and spacious room were perfect for our girls weekend. I plan to bring my family back in the fall!

Except for one older waitress who was less than pleasant at the restaurant we all enjoyed every aspect of this resort. I'd highly recommend this secluded sanctuary.

Room Tip: Talk to the staff- there are all different combinations that are available.

Our two bedroom, two bath accommodations are the best value in Oak Creek Canyon. I apologize on behalf of our staff member who was less than pleasant. We’ll be sure to get that corrected prior to your upcoming visit this fall with your family. Thank you for staying at Junipine.

About two hours drive from Scottsdale, you will find a hideaway that cleanses your soul while let you romance your significant other in a secluded resort. We are regulars and we will come back again. One of the best in AZ.

Room Tip: look for creek view room!

You are living in Oak Cree Canyon ad the Red Rocks are your immediate neighbors! They are all around you. Fantastic Creek Houses with full kitchens, spacious accommodations, awesome views. Listened to the creek every day. Only thing missing is that the washer and dryer should be in each Cree House. Plenty of privacy. Eight miles north of Sedona and tucked away in the canyon. We did a lot of research and it paid off. We clearly made the right choice. Make sure to get long wooden skewers in town at the grocery store so you can make smores in the fireplace in the evening. Ohhhhhh te smell of all the fireplaces at night when you step outside is fantastic. Front desk staff is super friendly and thy want your stay to be extra special. This is a clear winner.

Room Tip: Creek House 22 for 4-8 people. You will be amazed.

We love our location as much as you do! If you do need to do laundry during your visit, we have a laundry facility right next to the front desk that offers two commercial size washers and dryers. As for the smores, we have the ingredients in the lobby, so just stop by and get some ;).

We feel fortunate to have found Junipine and had a great stay there with our children. Did a lot of reading of reviews ahead of time and specially requested a room with updated decor and better wireless (it was right near the lobby where the router is). Although our room/condo was still not exactly modern in decor, it was very comfortable, everything was in good condition, and we were so pleased with how much space we had! We had a 2 bedroom with loft and a large patio deck. The hotel staff was very accommodating of our request and was terrifically efficient. We got great use out of the living room fireplace, although we did have trouble with the bedroom fireplace which put out a ton of smoke. We were subsequently told that for the smaller fireplaces, we should build the fire slowly so the chimney has time to heat up, which would have been good info to have before we smoked the place out!

Junipine is about a 10-15 minute drive outside of Sedona proper, so you should be prepared for that. There isn't really anything nearby in terms of food or markets, except for a tiny staples-and-chips-only sort of gas station, and a hotel restaurant which is just okay. The cellular service is nonexistent at the hotel and for quite a drive around it in either direction, since the hotel is nestled right up against the rock face.

It's a beautiful property, beautiful scenery. We liked it and would recommend it to other families as a great value for a comfortable space.

There are free movies to borrow from the lobby. Nice little creek running through the hotel grounds. Very peaceful and quiet.
