It's wonderful when the inn or bed and breakfast that you have carefully researched turns out to be just as special as you hoped it would be! A Sunset Chateau gets our highest praise. This inn exudes warmth, service, peace, relaxation, and happiness. The owners and their children have put their amazing artistic abilities to good use in the design of this inn; it is obvious that they care about each guest, as they go out of their way to welcome each person at breakfast and to inquire about their stay and plans for the day.

We had numerous questions about activities in the Sedona area. I emailed A Sunset Chateau in advance of our stay-several times. Each email was answered promptly and in great detail by one of the owners. We used their free concierge service to book a Pink Jeep Tour and a dinner reservation. We're so glad we did, as we were visiting during "high season", and we would not have been able to get reservations if we had waited until we arrived.

Our room, Casita number 10, was HUGE and so inviting! We particularly loved our shaded porch
and wished that we had had more time to sit and gaze at the red rock views. Next time we will book a longer stay...2 nights just wasn't enough.

Our compliments to the family and staff who make this inn so special. Every accolade is well-deserved!

Room Tip: I think that there are 23 rooms. We loved Casita #10, a king with a Murphy bed and a shaded porch...

I visited A Sunset Chateau earlier this month with a group of friends. We were delighted with this property! The rooms are inviting and spacious and tastefully decorated, so comfortable! The location is perfect. It is close to everything in Sedona but tucked away in a quiet corner so that you feel that you are away from it all and yet had fantastic views of the Red Rocks to the north of Sedona. The owners and staff were all helpful and accommodating. We were able to relax on the patio and by the pool and hot tub for a wonderful stay! We could walk to several different hikes in the area. We would definitely stay here again! Loved it!

Room Tip: The rooms with a view are great but the rooms with a garden view are larger.

We stayed three nights and got married at Bell Rock. We loved this place. We stayed in I think Romantic #4. Service was great from the time we called from Florida to book until check out. Loved the jacuzzi tub and the gas fireplace in the room. The red rocks view from our room was beautiful. The grounds were perfect and we loved all the cute ambiance around the hotel. After we got married, we took a swim in the heated salt water pool and then relaxed in the jacuzzi. We were the only ones there and it was perfect. We rarely saw other guests, except at breakfast time. Breakfast was great and I loved the music that was played during the meal. Each morning was different, we had a burrito, french toast and omelette. The staff left us a little wedding cake in our room. It was pretty much a perfect pick for our stay!

Room Tip: There are some really pretty second floor rooms near the back hammocs that I noticed. They must have...

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast for a 3 day get away. Lindsey welcomed us and made us comfortable. Our room was lovely. It was spacious and comfortable. Everything was spotless and well-kept. When we left, my husband unknowingly left part of his luggage. Lindsey called us on the road and offered to send it home to us. What a wonderful establishment. Thank you, Lindsey and the staff at A Sunset Chateau!

We will be back for sure! The grounds are well-kept and pretty: rose bushes, irises, moss, multiple hammocks and vines are interspersed with the trees and grass around the pool and little stream. My daughter loved walking over the quaint bridge, examining the pond and all of the rustic horse statues on the property. The red rocks loomed large through our front window, the breakfast room, and the pool (which was clean, pretty and relaxing). The room we stayed in (#4) was amazing: Spotless, well organized, and somehow both modern/sleek and artsy/cozy at the same time; a flat screen TV, tiled shower and full hot tub and comfy couches hung out alongside a bed bedecked with gauzy fabrics and funky eclectic artworks on all the walls. Sunset Park is a 2-minute walk down the road, and it's perfect for kids...and there are some hiking trails that start there too. Breakfast was delish and all of the staff were very friendly & warm & helpful. I loved the smallness of the place - it was quirky and fun and so laid back, and so easy - no worrying about tipping valets or getting cars from a separate parking lot. Stay here...you won't regret it!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 4 - it has a great view of the red rocks and it is quite comfy with a king bed, m...

What a funky eclectic little secret! We will definitely come back to visit you all! Our stay couldn't have been more perfect.

Your staff was amazing, the grounds were kept up very well and the rooms were ideal for relaxing on our one windy day. Oh and the breakfasts...Delic!

Our massage therapist was wonderful and I loved that she set up outside! Our custom 'wine & ruins' tour was so much fun and our driver was very thoughtful and knowledgeable!

We didn't want to come home! :)

Blessings.

I'll definitely recommend this to friends. Comfortable, clean, quirky southwest style decor with fantastic views across the valley to the red rocks. Our suite was was perfect for our 3-person family -- it could have slept 5. Parents get privacy, comfortable murphy bed folds down in the living room for the kid. Only minor complaint is the breakfasts could have more variety - always fruit and an egg dish or french toast. But overall, a wonderful place, and much preferable to chain hotels in the same price range.
