“Great choice. Hospitality and service were wonderful!”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We selected the Sunset Chateau from a list of B and B's on the internet based on reviews. The reviews were accurate. We had a wonderful stay of 4 nights at the Chateau. Breakfasts were very good and just the right amount of food. Views were wonderful off of our porch. The grounds were relaxing and calming. The Chateau is close to shopping, restaurants, groceries etc. Our room was just right and bright and cheery. Artwork by the owner in our room and around the grounds was amazing. Added to the personality of the chateau. Attention to details from setting up tours, in room massages to planning a bag breakfast for us on our day of departure were great. The owners have a personal touch with their guests and are sincerely interested in their "stories". We would definitely return to this B and B.

Personal touch of elegance in this quaint bed and breakfast. Rooms have outside patio areas to enjoy the colorful Arizona terrain. The owner has a knack for style. The decor was personally attended to, giving the comfort of a cottage to be enjoyed by yourself and your special someone. Cannot wait for the breakfast in the colorful southwestern dining room in the morning. The passion of the owners are evident in every detail. Given a list of top restaurants and a quick review of top sites, made our stay complete.

We came upon A Sunset Chateau purely by chance after a horrific experience at a well-known upscale chain hotel. It saved our vacation! The staff could not have been more helpful (we were traveling with my Mom who doesn't get around well) and the property is just beautiful. Felt secluded, but so close to the sights and great restaurants. The views from our rooms are what we had hoped to find in Sedona - absolutely spectacular, and the decor was perfectly warm and southwestern. We definitely intend to return, and highly recommend this property.

Room Tip: We had rooms at the back of the property, slightly elevated for a better view with a jacuzzi and com...

Gorgeous grounds, views, comfortable, clean rooms. We loved the layout of our two-room suite for our family of four (with 2 little ones) + mother-in-law. There is a nice state park just a block down the road for little ones. Staff was extremely friendly and gracious, breakfasts were wonderful. It feels secluded but is super close to everything Sedona. We will stay here next time for sure!

We stayed here on vacation and absolutely loved everything about it! We splurged on one of the newer rooms, which had an in-room jacuzzi and kitchen, gorgeous second floor views of the red rocks, a fireplace, and a gorgeous balcony. It was peaceful, tranquil and so relaxing. The owners were wonderful at suggestion local hikes and restaurants, and the breakfasts were absolutely divine. Don't miss this place!

The Sunset Chateau represents the best of Sedona: beauty, serenity and a feeling of contentment and peace. Everywhere you look, you see something lovely whether it be the paintings, frescos, the interior decorating or the restful gardens. Though there is much to do in Sedona, you could spend many wonderful days just at the Chateau, enjoying the spacious rooms, each with a balcony, patio or porch-or lounging in the hammocks or by the pool Lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas and chairs also dot the property.

Each of the 23 guestrooms sports a kitchen or kitchenette, as well as a fireplace and scenic view. Everything is absolutely immaculate. The owners' attention to detail is found in the festive dining room as well as the items iin the rooms...like a make-up mirror. The gourmet breakfasts easily set you up for the day. One or both of the owners make a point of visiting during breakfast to see if there is anything you need to make your stay more enjoyable. In addition, the staff are attentive and helpful.

Centrally located, the Inn is about 1/3mile off of 89, nestled on a hillside. You are close to everything-yet surrounded by peace and quiet. You will leave making plans for your return.

Room Tip: All the rooms have views-either red rock or gardens.

Our room was overly-interior-designed and the truck traffic to an adjacent business was noisy. Who cares? Spotelessly clean, well maintained, red rock solitude on the veranda, a kitchenette, attentive hosts. The Casablanca Room was the perfect rest stop after hiking the Grand Canyon.

Room Tip: Rooms higher on the hillside have better views but, presumably, higher prices. Good views online, Je...
