Sedona is a beautiful area and we were very lucky to have that beauty right from our balcony. Before we arrived I asked for a room with a view on the 2nd floor as recommended here on tripadvisor. What an amazing view it was. Red Rock mountains in plain view. The resort itself was also very very nice. Our 2 bedroom unit was huge and tastefully decorated. The staff were great especially our concierge, she was very helpful and pleasant. We attended a timeshare sales pitch and they did try to sell us property but they were not too pushy. We loved this place and we will be returning.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view on 2nd floor.

We spent two nights during a spring break trip at the ridge. This is right across from the hilton Sedona where we stayed in October. This room was so much better for the price that I can't believe I wasted time at the Hilton.

At the Ridge, we had a one bedroom suite. The kitchen was all granite. The appliances worked great. The soaking tub was giant! We had a great patio, views of the red rocks and plenty of space. My teenager thought the pull out sofa was the best he's slept on.

I'm a sucker for the toiletry items and we had the usual shampoo and condition plus body scrub and body wash. The bedding was nice and towels were luxorious.

We had stayed at the Hilton for a conference last time. Next time that conference comes around, we are staying here and will walk across the street.

Room Tip: Cell phone is iffy, but you are in the middle of the desert

My wife, college age daughter and I spent 5 nights at the Ridge ... and thoroughly enjoyed it. The unit was obtained via interval exchange. It was spacious and complete with private bedroom, kitchen and laundry machine as well as a large combined living room/dining room. Bathroom was large and modern with shower and separate tub.

The grounds were nice and the exercise room was more than adequete with a variety of newer machines, weight machines, and free weights. The pools were nice. Wifi was not free, about $6/day. We were not even approached about sales or timeshares. Getting info from the concierge desk sometimes ineffiecent due to busyness.

The location is very conveinent with close proximity to many attractions. We went to cathedral rock, montezuma's castle, Jerome-ghost town, mining town, Out of Africa Wildlife Park, red rock state park, red rock crossing and some shops.

I found it relaxing and enjoyable and would recommend as a time share exchange.

The units are very nicely furnished, and the one bedroom we stayed in had a washer/dryer, well stocked kitchen and a king size bed in the bedroom. There were 2 large flat screens in the unit, but unfortunately, they did not offer HD programming. Only some of the units have a view, and they are not associated with the golf course. I like the fact they are located close to Bell Rock, but for those who wants to go into Sedona, it's another 10 minutes drive. Wifi is only available if you pay extra, and the charge is by device. So, for the modern family with multiple devices who wish to stay connected, the cost would quickly add up. We went to the sales presentation, and found them to be more aggressive than others we've been to. If you don't mind sitting there for 90 minutes, you can generally get some good incentives for your time investment.

Room Tip: Building 19 offers no view at all.

Stayed here for two nights in March 2013. Booked two units to make one suite as travelling with family. Units were clean but a little worn and dated. Kids enjoyed the outdoor pool which was steps away from our unit. The staff were friendly and knowledgable about the area. The units were a little noisy as we were in bottom units and could hear the people above us, especially running their jacuzzi tub at 10 o'clock at night. The fridge also made a very loud humming noise all night, easily fixed by turning it off if not using. The beds were comfortable and the linens clean. Our only complaint with this resort is the lack of FREE wifi. For $6 every 24 hours, you can purchase wifi in your room. A little unusual to have to pay for wifi these days and we chose to just live without it for a few days. We survived ;). if given the choice, however, between two resorts, we would choose the resort that provides free wifi. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay here.
