We decided to spend our wedding anniversary in Sedona this year, knowing that the weather could be a bit cold and harsh. It was cold and rainy, and we now know why we live in Scottsdale. But the Pyramid Suite was great. It was clean and had a well-stocked kitchenette so we could enjoy our wine, cheese, crackers, and smoked salmon that we brought with us. Ken was very personable and gave us a good introduction to the suite, restaurants, places to see and hiking trails (we left our hiking gear at home). We spent time browsing through the Tlaquepaque having a good breakfast at the Secret Garden Cafe and lunch at the Oak Creek Brewery and Grill. For our anniversary dinner we had a great Italian dinner at Dahl & DilLuca. Snow was falling on our way from our room to the restaurant, which was reminiscent of our wedding day in Erie, PA. We didn't get to use the balcony, but we plan to return during the warmer months,

I found Sedona Suites on line in trip advisor about a month before my daughter flew out to Gallup to meet me for a thanksging Mom and Daughter outing. What a find!! The pyramid room, as Heather and Ken call it;over looks Pyramid mountain. It is an extremely comfortable room with a king size bed, 2 comfy recliners for watching TV or reading, a private Bath and a small kitchenette. It was private with its own entrance. Ken and Heather greeted us and then Ken gave us all the info we needed.; Maps of the area, restaurants, sights to see, etc. the room is about a 400 yard leisurely walk from cathedral mountain; a must see.
So bottom line: wonderful stay, wonderful view and great owners. A 10 out of a 1 to 5!!! And I am a very picky southern bell. Can't wait to go back again!
