We wanted to get away from LA and celebrate my birthday hiking in the Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon area of AZ. Based on tripadvisor reviews we booked the Canyon Wren Cabins for two nights and stayed in the Honeysuckle. We missed the driveway on the first pass because what makes this place so charming is that it's so private- a small group of cabins surrounded by lovely gardens and an amazing number of bird species. The cabin had everything we needed to settle in including a jetted tub great after hiking. We really loved the grill on our front patio area. Milena and Mike are wonderful hosts and really enjoy what they do. They were very attentive to our needs and having been in the area for so many years we enjoyed their stories. Breakfast is fresh made- yummy muffins/pastry, fresh fruit and an egg dish. We hiked the West Fork Trail-a must. Take along one of Mike's brownies for energy.
