This was our first time in Arizona, we were visiting for a short much needed vacation. We were looking for quiet restful romantic place but wanted to be away from the bustle of town. We certainly found it at the Canyon Wren. Mike and Milena were so warm and friendly and so fun to talk with. No forced socializing though, you certainly have privacy as you have a separate cabin. The cabin was very clean, comfortable with a beautiful fireplace, and whirlpool bathtub and private patio with a grill. We loved the birds and particularly the humming bird feeder in the window. It is centrally located and easy to get to the Grand Canyon, Jerome, downtown Sedona, and also Prescott ( ask Mike for reasons anyone would want to go there) We truly felt we had spent the week with friends, and were very happy with our vacation...and would love to return.

My husband and I visited Canyon Wren for our wedding anniversary. We've stayed in cabins before but never a "bed and breakfast". This was definitely a sweet surprise. The location is beautiful, right up against the red rocks, we couldn't have asked for a better view (we stayed in the sycamore but views were all around great)! Mike and Milena were great hosts. They made us feel so welcome. Milena makes a delicious quiche and she's so helpful with suggestions and making plans for while visiting Sedona! We did some fishing in the creek right across from our cabin... saw a bald eagle, so cool! No surprise though since the the Canyon Wren property seems to be a bird haven (small birds). The cabins are emmaculately clean. Adorable small touches everywhere... from real turtles in the waterfall feature to the romantic journal entries written by guests in the past years. This is a family owned B&B, passed down from generation and you can tell in the pride that Milena and Mike take in it.... it's not just a business but it's a love and passion for what they do and who they meet along the way and that truly makes all the difference!! We can't wait to visit again... and again.... soon!

Room Tip: Honesuckle faces main Rd. Morn Glory near parking.

Canyon Wren is a delightful spot for a romantic getaway to Red Rock country. It's located along Oak Creek Canyon, 6 miles from the hustle and bustle of Sedona, yet close enough to enjoy everything the town has to offer. Canyon Wren proprietors Milena and Mike are friendly, gracious hosts who take pride in offering a superior experience for their guests, including Mike's amazing homemade brownies — YUM! We were there during an unexpected snow storm: power went out for several hours, yet we remained warm and cozy with heat from the fireplace (thanks for ample fire wood, Mike) and extra care and concern for our comfort. We feel very fortunate to have discovered Canyon Wren and highly recommend it for anyone staying in the Sedona area.

We stayed for several days at the end of a 3 week Grand Circle Tour. Canyon Wren is a wonderful place to relax & unwind.
The cabins are charming, spotlessly clean & the gardens are a delight, attracting a large variety of birds including many hummingbirds.
Mike & Milena make all their guests feel special with their warmth & extensive knowledge of the Sedona area.
This was our second visit from the UK.... it won't be our last.

This was our third visit to Sedona, but our first time staying at the Canyon Wren. Our 2 person cabin was very clean, cozy and comfortable. There's a common courtyard filled with fountains and flowers along with feeders that attract area birds. We enjoyed a constant stream of hummingbird visitors to the feeder right outside our kitchen window and watched various other birds from our private patio. Our hosts, Milena and Mike, made sure we were well taken care of, from serving excellent breakfasts to providing directions to must see destinations. An unexpected perk, was sharing stories with the other cabin guests as we all met for breakfast on the main patio! We can recommend this place with confidence and will be back ourselves!

We finished our 25th anniversary trip with a night @ Canyon Wren Cabins sheltered below the magnificent red outcroppings of Oak Canyon. A lovely natural location & gracious, caring hosts, indeed! Even the homemade quiche and muffins were seasoned with a bit of TLC! Next time we hope to stay longer.

Room Tip: Honeysuckle Cabin was perfect for our needs

No TV, No cell service, and No internet. It was perfect. There was a full kitchen and a BBQ on the porch. No need to go out unless you want to. We love to cook so we stayed in and ate dinner by the fire the first night. Mike & Malena ( the hosts) were very helpful with suggestions for going out too. Dont worry about breakfast, they provided great food every morning and their brownies are great too. They have been in Sedona a long time, and know all about the town. They were able to guide us to exactly what we wanted to do. We brough our Jeep and love to off road. We also love to hike. We were provided with a red rock pass and maps, and their guidance was perfect. We would have not had the same experience if they had not been so helpful with their guidance. There are some cabins nearby that are a little cheaper and bigger if you want to bring a group of people, but if you are looking for a nice time out with the spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend in a intimate and cozy atmosphere Go here. It is well worth the extra few bucks.
