Petite but big in serenity. Go see the Frank Lloyd Wright chapel. Park at the top to save a long walk. Light a candle for someone you love.

The chapel is uniquely built into the rocks. Offers great views over the Sedona area. There is a huge house just below the chapel, which seems to generate a lot of comment (generally negative).

Whether you're Christian, Jewish, Muslim or Agnostic, this little marvel is something to see...and experience. It's been a place of respite, peace and calming for me for over 30 years. A bit crowded at times, but well worth the walk up the steep drive. Or just take the Trolley...they'll take you right to the door, along with a guided tour along the way.

Have not had the time to read the history of this Chapel's development but what a wonderful gift for all to enjoy. Easy to find once you are on Rt 179 with signs at turn-about pointing where to go. Many visitors arrived the same time we did so although it was not as tranquil on the outside, once entering the chapel you could sense a feeling of peace and to take a moment to reflect. You do not need to be religious to value the elegant but simple decor, stained glass windows and design of the chapel. The ramp to walk up allows you to take in the beautiful surroundings before you approach the entrance to the chapel. A definite must see if you have not been here before.
