“Superb service in wonderful surroundings”
Reviewed June 6, 2010

My parents, husband, sister and brother-in-law took a long-weekend trip to Sedona to celebrate my father's 70th birthday. After a lot of research and great recommendations on Trip Advisor, we decided to stay at Sedona Views B&B. What a wonderful place! The location was quiet with beautiful views from our room on the red rocks of Sedona. The B&B was very cozy and extremely comfortable - great beds and sweet decor in the rooms. It seems like the management had thought of everything - each room had a private fireplace, outdoor jacuzzi, mini refrigerator, magazines on Sedona, and even binoculars to watch the numerous hummingbirds at the bird feeders. Breakfasts were homemade, absolutely delicious and very filling! We would go back there in a heartbeat.

Contrary to the two reviews that gave Sedona Views a four star, "very good" review, we highly disagree. This place made our visit and experience in Sedona a very memorable and enjoyable one.

There may be no sign on the road indicating the entrance but this is also a benefit because it maintains the privacy and seclusion of the location. Directions are easy to follow and we found it with absolutely no trouble at all.

Our room, the Sedona Serenade, was beautiful and we felt instant relaxation after our 10-hour travel time. Each room has as much furniture as necessary. Sedona is not the type of destination that you come to and lounge in your room the whole time. There are endless choices for outdoor activities-(more on that later). There may not have been a bath tub in our room, but who needs one when you have a personal hot tub on your own private deck! The hot tub was a definite plus after a day of hiking, biking, site seeing or shopping.

Breakfast..mmm. The variety of breakfasts we ate greatly exceeded our expectations. The portions were large enough to fuel us until late afternoon when snacks were available. The afternoon snacks were much appreciated seeing that this is, of course, a bed and breakfast where typically you would expect to be served breakfast only. On top of delicious breakfasts, they were very accommodating and would prepare alternate meals for people with food allergies/ food preferences. If you want a "bounty of breakfast breads and pastries, or tea cakes, wines and cheeses and fruits at any time available" (as one reviewer wrote) go to a resort. Again this is a B&B! There were plenty of grocery stores nearby where you can purchase your own bounty of wine and cheese to enjoy on your patio.

It was a beautiful property on the edge of town bordering the Red Rock National forest. Lush gardens and scenery surround this bed and breakfast where lots of wildlife can be seen, so keep your camera handy.

Sam, Irith, and Candyce were excellent hosts and we received an orientation regarding Sedona that we greatly appreciated. From them, we learned about Sedona's best kept secrets. They were interested in our daily plans and offered suggestions to help make the most of our trip. There is a computer to use, but each room has free wireless internet - perfect if you have your own laptop.

The view from our deck was great but the most spectacular landscapes can be seen from the endless hiking trails found throughout Sedona. We felt that the price was adequate for the hospitality, quality and tranquility available at Sedona Views B&B. We recommend this to all travelers to Sedona, and look forward to returning!

We've stayed at 2 other B&B's in Sedona and I have to say 'Sedona Views' far exceeded our other experiences! Our room was fabulous, our view and hot tub was lovely. We enjoyed our breakfasts and especially enjoyed visiting with Sam. What an interesting, friendly, informative guy. We'd go back just to hang with him again!!! We had the most incredible dinners (restaurants that Sam recommended). Cafe Elote was by far the best southwest cuisine we've ever had!! We loved it! Our second evening we had dinner at the Heartline Cafe and it was wonderful as well. We so enjoyed our short visit to glorious Sedona and look forward to going back and staying at Boots and Saddles!!!!

We've travelled all over the globe - This was a really lovely property in one of the best locations we could imagine. Really great value. Our hosts gave us great advice on restaurants, hiking, sites to visit, shopping tips, and avoiding tourist traps!
The breakfast fare was always lovely and was served amidst amazingly landscaped surroundings that were exceptionally beautiful and relaxing. Every amenity offered was well-considered and the innkeepers really go that extra mile in tailoring your stay to be a perfect fit! Extra comfortable beds and pillows were cloud-like and offered perfect rest after a long day's hiking in the area.
A word of advice regarding activities and restaurants in the area: Trust the innkeeper's word implicitly -they steered us to the best experiences EVERY time! They are very well-liked in the Sedona area for very good reason!
Thanks Sam, Irith & Candyce!

On the advice of the glowing reviews for this establishment on Trip Advisor, we booked our stay here for our Sedona visit. The pictures made it look plusher than our first impression upon arrival. There is no sign indicating its location ... only an address on a post as you finally find the entry driveway that leads you to the building. The home is rustic but comfortable. Our room Morning Glory was very roomy but inside the lounging furniture was scarce and awkwardly placed for use. Very comfortable linens and bed, small closet, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV and bath and dressing area. Although the shower was new, (no bath) the water flow I felt was inadequate for a good washing shower. Some of the light bulbs in the vanity area were dim or burned out, making the lighting there less than desirable. They did replace one for us.

Views from the room were very nice. No obstructions, good fresh air flow and inside temperature controls, nice private balcony area for this room with the hot tub outside. The tub was limited to 104 deg. so it was warm, not hot for my liking, but good jets for massage.

The breakfast every morning was creative, well prepared and served and TASTY! Beyond that the opportunity for food there was less than we've experienced at other such establishments. Afternoons had store-bought crackers, nuts and pretzels, with one dip available each day, and the same cookies every day. There was no bounty of breakfast breads and pastries, or tea cakes, wines and cheeses and fruits at any time available.

The setting for this B&B was atop a hill just above the major highway that leads out of Sedona to Flagstaff. Some highway noise is always there, but with the windows and doors closed, no bother. A beautiful rock garden with water stream sits just outside one guest room and the dining area - very pleasant to relax at. Just behind the building one can go straight uphill and find a hiking trail that joins another major trail up above at the foot of some of the beautiful red rock formations that surround this area. An hour and a half hike can be done right there before breakfast.

Sam and Irith and Candyce are excellent hosts. They give an outstanding orientation briefing to all newcomers and in the friendliest manner meet the needs as you ask. No doubt it's their personal touch that endears visitors to this place. One computer in a cabinet in the entry hall was not particularly convenient, but usable.

Overall our stay at Sedona Views was made comfortable with very personal touches and privacy , but lacked some of the luxury amenities that we thought should accompany the price for these accommodations. There are better views to be had, more conveniences to enjoy elsewhere, and our stay, though not a rave, was not a disappointing one.

My wife and I just returned from staying 4 nights at this wonderful bed and breakfast. We decided on staying here after reading all of the previous reviews on Trip Advisor. Everything we read turned out to be true. Our Sweet Dreams suite was quite spectacular. Very spacious with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.
Our suite was approached by climbing a staircase lined by flowers and cactuses; as well as a small running waterfall. We could see the Red Rocks of Sedona from our very private deck; as well as a number of very busy bird feeders. The deck also contained a much used by us hot tub; which was most appreciated after a long day of hiking. Meals were excellent. Our Innkeepers were very knowledgable and each of the 4 restaurants recommended turned out to be a homerun. They also advised us where to shop, and more importantly, where not to shop. Hiking advice was also excellent. The location of this B&B was also superb; minutes from everything you could want to do in Sedona. My wife is already thinking of when can we return.

Following 2 days of hiking the Grand Canyon made me think we deserved a night of pampering, so I went to Trip Advisor in search of the right place in Sedona. I do not seek out B&Bs generally, but the 100% positive reviews peaked my interest and I am glad I went with it. Recommendations on what to do and eat were right on, room spacious, view beautiful and out of the way of the tourist part of Sedonna, great bedding and the private hot tub was a great wind down to the weekend. If you have a chance, go to Elota, but go before 5:00 or hawk the bar. Food and service were fantastic! We didn't see a need to head out after dinner as Sedonna Views B&B had the perfect place to enjoy the rest of the evening outside of our own room.
