First class all the way! Matt, who checked us in, went above and beyond for us. The accommodations are fabulous, spacious, classy and at the same time cozy. The grounds are stunning and there are places to sit all over the property right on the creek. The spa was fantastic and Sarah is excellent (I had the sugar scrub and wrap). It is so peaceful you can just feel the stress leaving your body. We loved it and will definitely be back.

All in all, the propert is beautiful... However this resort did not meet my expectations at all. We stayed in a spa cottage and after paying $500/night, I expected WAY more for that money. There aren't any views whatsoever where most the cottages are, and NO privacy being that you're surrounded by sidewalks where the staff and people staying there are constantly walking, so we couldn't have our blinds open or even sit on our deck without having people see us. Even the bathtub has a huge window that looks into the cottage next to you. The beds were so-so. I expected nice down pillows, however they were cheap, hard foam filled ones. We also had a problem with ants in our room and the shower leaked everywhere. Don't get me wrong, the room was nice... Just not $500/night nice. I was also expecting a huge beautiful spa... Nope. Even the gym and pool was VERY small. There isn't any type of 'store' on the premise to get any snacks or beverages either. If you want to walk to the downtown, you have to climb a few hundred stairs through their sister resort, The Orchards... But make sure you come back when it's still light, otherwise you'll break your neck going down the poorly lit stairs. I am very disappointed as I was expecting way more. This resort is very tiny, not the views I was expecting, not the higher end room amenities I was expecting and no privacy. Save your money and do not get a cottage... Unless you don't care about privacy, a view or the horrible sounds of cicadas by the river.

We appreciate you writing your review and giving us feedback from your recent stay. We apologize that we were unable to meet your expectations. You are correct that our spa and fitness facilities are petite. With our spa, we do many in room treatments as well as creekside treatments to accomodate our guests. Also, we do offer our guests complimentary rides to uptown Sedona for shopping, tours and galleries. I'm sorry that this wasn't offered to you when you checked in, we will make sure this is communicated with our on going training efforts. Again, thank you for taking the time to write this review and please feel free to contact us if you'd like to discuss this further.

Wonderful environment with wonderful rooms and great food. We stayed for a four day stint and we wish it was forever. The service was spectacular. The seating out by the river with the fireplaces were worth the trip themselves .

Room Tip: Go with a cottage room.

Lucky us! We bought a Travel Zoo voucher for a three night stay at this exquisite resort. Tucked below town and snuggled up to Oak Creek, this resort is so hidden, you don't even know it's there! The service was always friendly and comfortable. We stayed in a garden cottage that was large and well appointed. Our favorite feature was the marvelous outdoor shower! Food was delicious and the natural surroundings are quiet and relaxing. It's hard to get back to the real world after such a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: Choose a cottage!
