We just spent our 50th anniversary at the magnificent L'Auberge and did I earn points with my wonderful "best friend". As always , I did the planning and research for our summer getaway and choosing the "L" was a stroke of genius on my part... :-)
Thanks Trip Advisor for the help you provide. Selecting a hotel is always a daunting task ... and a shot in the dark... your reviews help us travelers make the right choices and we get the credit for the wonderful places we visit.
First, The room, we chose the Vista Cabin. I'm told they are only 4 years old and they are "state of the arts" in comfort and style. They are built into the side of a small mountain so the "vista" is above the trees and buildings and offer a spectacular panoramic view of the Sedona Red Rocks. There is a large, well appointed main room, including a fireplace, flat screen and refrig/coffee area.
The bath is always most important and these do not disappoint. Double lavs, whirlpool tub and, yup, an outdoor shower.
Third, and final, creekside dining... a very romantic and beautiful setting and food "to die for". The 4 course French influenced dinner was wonderful! We also had breakfast there and it was also terrific!
Three words... attention to detail... L'Auberge management has assembled and trained a terrific group of people who anticipant and fulfill your every desire.
Thanks L'Auberge and trip advisor.
