My husband and I spent four nights at L'Auberge this spring. It is a gem of a resort. It is so picturesque, it is other worldly. Our room overlooked a bubbling mountain stream. The sunlight streamed through the trees. The sound of the stream was intoxicating....there was an outdoor shower open to the sky with a view of the red rocks and the mountains. The restaurant was on the side of the stream and had delicious food. The service at both the hotel and the restaurant was impeccable. Both the restaurant and the hotel are very romantic with a relaxed atmosphere. Overall a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the stream.

We booked this hotel for a quick weekend stay and the hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a Vista Suites and I would highly recommend it. The views of the red rocks were almost as amazing as the outdoor shower! Although the large Jacuzzi tubs with red rock views was also pretty great. Service throughout the property was warm, sincere and unobtrusive. The highlight of our stay had to have been the creek side dinner on our last night. Well done, we will be back!

my daughter travels to Sedona on business a few times a year. This year, I, her mom, accompanied her. We had lunch here and it was pure heaven. My salad was a bibb lettuce and radish salad w/ pecans...a very light, milky, sweet/sour vinegarette dressing. to DIE for...wonder if I could get the recipe....??? Please ??? Pretty please ??

Thank you very much for your reveiw, we're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your meal with us! Below is the recipe for the dressing, we'll also post on our Facebook page in case it doesn't show correctly in this format. We hope to see you again!

Sherry Dressing
Serving for 4 people

Crème fraiche – 9oz
Mayonnaise – 6oz
Smokey Blue cheese - .5 cup
Sherry reduction - .5 cup
Hazelnut oil – to taste (2oz)
Sugar – to taste (2oz)
Salt and white pepper – to taste

Start blending the first three and sugar together, slowly add the sherry reduction then the hazelnut oil, and salt and pepper to taste.

If you don’t have crème fraiche you can use sour cream with lemon juice.

The sherry reduction, is sherry wine (any kind) reduced by half.

Been here several times and travel fairly often for pleasure. L'Auberge is a jewel of the region. Staff and service are top notch, the entire experience is a respite from the hectic town above, the grounds are beyond gorgeous. Set on a beautiful stream in the woods, creekside dining is an exceptional experience. There is plenty of space to enjoy the creek even when not dining.

Amenities and services are top shelf. Requests are met without question and immediately.

We didnt try spa services but room service and creekside dining was terrific and 5 star.

If you simply want the most serene, wonderful high end resort in Sedona, this is your place. Period

Room Tip: We stayed in the lodge, cabins must be amazing

I expected more from this property. The surroundings were beautiful and the accomodations were fine but the service was terrible We ate breakfast for three mornings at the hotel and each day my order arrived wrong. The food was fair- we ate dinner in the fine dining restaurant and was not impressed compared with the other dining options in the area.Spa was small but the service i had was excellent. There are not enough seats at the pool and a staff person delivered a case of water to the pool after we asked for water and didn't bother to open the box- all we had was warm water to drink in 100 degree weather. The major problem with this hotel is service. I would not stay here again

We visited Sedona as an anniversary trip and wanted to stay someplace different and special, so I turned to Trip Advisor. It seems only fitting to write my own review after benefitting from so many others. If you are on the fence about staying here, just do it! L'auberge de Sedona offers top notch service that you won't find at the average hotel. The food is exceptional; we enjoyed breakfast on our deck every morning and had a couple of lovely dinners creek side. We hiked and ATVed our way through each day and were always pleased to come back to a clean and well appointed cottage. The cedar outdoor shower and jacuzzi tub were nice touches and our car was always brought promptly around at our request. L'Auberge set the tone for a very enjoyable trip to Red Rocks country!

Room Tip: Ask for a vista cottage high on the hill for the best views.

We rolled up in our stylin' 2006 Dodge Ram with 228,000 miles... yet we were still treated like royalty right from the start... We were initially greeted by RANDY out front (love the hat). Randy escorted me inside the lobby and very privately turned to my and wished me a "Happy Anniversary"... Very impressive... After receiving our room keys we were offered a ride to our room and once again we were impressed when Randy asked us, "which one is Kona and which one is Cabo"... These are our dogs that we brought with us to enjoy our Anniversary Weekend in the cool Pines...

Upon arriving at our cottage we were very pleasantly surprised to see a "feeding station" all set up for our dogs, complete with "Goodie Bags" with their names on them... This won us over!! Nice touch folks!!! Room Service that night was fabulous!! We highly recommend the burgers!!

The next morning when we asked for our vehicle to be pulled around it wouldn't start... The Lead Valet Attendant, BEAU, called for an engineer and had my vehicle jumped... More impressive was BEAU picking me up at my room as I was exiting the Cottage to head down and checkout the situation... "The Boys" (RANDY & BEAU) had my truck started and charging and had directions to the O'Reilley's down the street to get my replacement battery... Awesome Service!!

I travel quite a bit for my profession and I can honestly say, I did not mind staying at this property. Add it to your bucket list...

Room Tip: Well... You will have to do (3) different visits... We had the "Red Rock View" Cottage thi...
