“Spectacular Venue !”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

We were just married on our porch at a L'Auberge Creekside Cottage in Sedona, AZ. The site was magnificent, and the service and amenities were perfect! We spent a day in Sedona looking for a good spot, and visited a couple top venues without prior appointments. L'Auberge had been recommended by a friend, Melissa, who works there in Banquets. Most top venues were not very interested in a two-person wedding, but when we arrived at L'Auberge things changed. We met the most wonderful concierge, Graham, who took us all around the property in a golf cart, with no prior appointment, and showed us all the choices L'Auberge offered. He explained how we could stage a wedding on our private balcony, overlooking Oak Creek. We went home and booked immediately. Everything about L'Auberge was just wonderful .. they responded to our every request, and were so kind and accommodating. The restaurant is 5-star and the service is outstanding. We cannot say enough to Thank everyone at L'Auberge for making our day so special. Melissa and Graham, in particular were absolutely the BEST!

Room Tip: I doubt there is a bad choice for a room. The beds are sumptuous and amenities are plenty. Creeksid...

I loved this place. My husband and I had such a great time at L'Auberge. Our room was really nice and big. With incredible views. We stayed 2 nights in one of the Vista Cottage rooms. We also enjoyed the outdoor shower, in november !! Just perfect.
I would highly recommend the sunday morning brunch, just next to the creek. The food was soooo good. Brunch is a bit expensive, but you will not regret the money spent. It's amazing. So quiet and peaceful.
Perfect location, just minutes away from shops and restaurants. You can either drive your car, or ask for a valet to drive you downtown. The valets are super nice and always ready to help. Ask for Benjamin, he was really nice and gave us some great advices regarding shopping and activities around.
The staff is overall really nice and professional.
Quiet, lots of privacy, great service. We can't wait to go back :)

Room Tip: Vista cottage room are really quiet. And offer privacy.

What a hidden gem in a busy place! Some days we didn't want to leave. They manage to provide everything and anticipate your needs without being annoying and hovering. The location tucked down on the hillside by the running creek is perfect. You get the best of both worlds - the views from up top and the cool woodland below. There's a stairway to make a shortcut to the shops above and Tlaquepaque artisan village is a short walk away. Food was excellent for all meals. Our room #93 was better than home . Large deck, sitting area and a bonus surprize - a huge outdoor shower! The bed was a joy after a day of hiking, wonderful breezes. Free wifi, strong and reliable, extensive TV channels. They only have valet parking but they bring you your car fast and will drive you around town whenever you want. The spa was professional and a little oasis.
The one thing I didn't like was in order to get to our room we had to walk in the entry road and compete with both cars and the golf carts. We felt there should be a stairway and path for people. It isnt inexpensive, but you get the experience you pay for. We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Pick the hillside rooms furthest up (80-100) . They're more private and you get the views of the...

This resort L'Auberge de Sedona is wonderful. I hightly recommend it. You would never have to leave if you didn't want to. Our room was the Vista Cottage and we loved it. They also have creek view properties which are very nice, but when sitting on your deck on the creek properties people can walk right past your deck. The Vista Cottage is higher on the hill and people can't walk in front of your deck. The service is the best, and there is Yoga daily (Katie is the instructor and she's great). Some of the evenings there is star gazing and the equipment and the person that leads it is very, very knowledgable. The resort is very close to everything! Sites, shopping, hiking, pink jeep tours. The rooms are super clean and I can't say enough about the service. If you choose they even have daily duck feeding at the creek. Not sure where the ducks poop, but you never seen and duck poopy anywhere, which surprized me. They must have a groundskeeper assigned to each duck for cleanup!!! :) I highly recommend this resort. We were there for 5 days and would have loved to stay longer.!!

Room Tip: Private cottages are up on the hill. No one can walk in front of your room. Creekside are also lov...

Your every wish is catered to. You don't have to look for the Ice bucket...just call and request and a few minutes later there is a knock on the door with ice. Fresh fruit available as soon as you walk in to the lobby. Complimentary coffee and scones each morning. Breathtaking views. Everything was lovely.

About 12 years ago, I saw a program on TV about the best Sunday Brunches in the US, so husband and I convinced our friends to travel to Sedona for the Sunday Brunch at L'Auberge, which was mentioned on this program. The Brunch experience was wonderful, but there were some creek-related issues and we could not sit outside.

Fast-forward 12 years, husband and I traveled to Sedona and, once again, stopped for lunch at L'Auberge. This time there were no creek-related issues and we could dine outside. Husband enjoyed his prime beef burger with white cheddar cheese and my salad was fresh and crisp, with plenty of crabmeat. Chilled French Rose went very well with our lunch choices.

It was a lovely, sunny day in Sedona and, although it was not hot, one could not really sit in the direct sunlight for too long before getting uncomfortable. So, the only issue which separates our experience from a five-bubble one is the fact that there were no umbrellas placed over the outdoor tables, which would have made it for a more comfortable sitting. Otherwise, it was a lovely lunch, indeed.

My husband and I headed to L'Auberge at the recommendation of a coworker for a three night babymoon before the birth of our first child. Giving this amazing property 5 stars doesn't do it justice. The service was fantastic from our first experience with the valet stand to our checkout. We also appreciated the warm wishes for our upcoming birth. We scheduled massages our last morning at L'Auberge and our therapists were quite skilled. Our spa cottage was gorgeous. The outdoor cedar shower was literally a slice of Heaven. We slept like babies on those gorgeous plush beds. We even had the concierge give us the information for those beds and purchased the non-hotel version it was so comfy! We especially enjoyed relaxing each morning on the deck while sipping our coffee and gazing at the gorgeous view. Each meal we had at L'Auberge was a treat. You must plan for the Sunday Brunch if time allows. It was amazing. This entire resort is geared toward relaxation and romance. If you're looking for a quiet and tranquil space to be pampered and unwind, L'Auberge fits the bill!

Room Tip: Spa cottage #71 is very quiet and has a lovely view.
