“Very tasty food but....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

Went here for lunch. Great menu with unique tastes and food combinations! Love it! We (2 couples) ordered all different items so we could taste everything. Hamburger, sandwich, soup and salad. Delicious!

Now for the but.......maybe it was just that morning but we were like the 3rd or 4th table to sit down for lunch on a weekday. It took 45 mins of waiting for our lunch to be made. The Manager came to the table to apologize. We understand that things happen but the craziness was over the top. When the food came, it was cold. We weren't going to complain, why bother at this point? Chili cold, fries cold and mushroom burger cold. We couldn't get our food all along because of the salmon topping on our salad. The ahi tartare was fabulous!

The ice tea was potent with flavor, unlike many other places. It was delicious!

Despite the cold food, the taste was amazing! Then when we get the bill, it was half correct. The staff person put half of our food on another person's bill and vice versa. Then the person didn't know how to divide the bill. She divided food items not the total dollar amount in half. Geesh!

We will try the place again if we come back to Sedona because the food was great. If the service is kooky/zany again then my review next time will be less than positive.

The outside deck is so comfortable and the scenery was so serene.

“Dog AND Gluten Free Friendly!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2013

I have to share my WONDERFUL experience at Ken's Creekside Cafe. It is DOG FRIENDLY (on the patio) and GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY! The food is SCRUMPTIOUS! I had Duck Confit to die for! Hubby had Ken’s Crab Cake Lunch... parmesan crusted, jumbo blue crab cake, cup of plum tomato soup and a wedge salad. Our friend Dave had Chilaquiles (cheela Keeleez) corn tortillas tossed with roasted hatch green chili. two eggs over easy, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and feta cheese. He said it was the best he ever had. The Bloody Marys they had were amazing too! (Our server Damon was great!)

Next time any of you are in the Sedona area (especially if you have your dog with you) please check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

“Simply average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2013

We came to eat here based on the recommendation of our guide on the Pink Jeep Tour. The location is easy to find and there is ample parking...we ate outside and we had a nice view of Snoopy Rock while on the deck. I ordered a chicken salad and was terribly disappointed. The grilled chicken was on a bed of lifeless iceberg lettuce and was definitely not worth the $14 price tag. However, my boyfriend enjoyed his Ahi sandwich.

One thing that I did appreciate was that they have a little kitty cat bank up front that accepts donations for the Sedona Humane Society. A place that supports local organizations like that cannot be that bad! If I go the next time I'm in Sedona, I'd be willing to try it again but would order something else.

“Sun Tea on the Patio and Lunch Until 3”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2013

The rose hibiscus sun tea is fantastic! I wish I could have had a full pitcher. It is sweetened with Agave so the flavors come through. Sitting on the patio looking at the red rocks of Sedona and drinking tea was lovely. The shoestring fries are also very yummy. Seasoned with their custom spice mix. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and told us so. They serve breakfast until 3 unlike the other cafes in Sedona.
