Despite walking along the edge of the enormous, invasive, and noisy Enchantment Resort (wait 'til you see their rude and nasty trail-side sign) this is an impressive walk through a beautiful red rock canyon. And, unlike some of the other trailheads in Sedona, there is adequate parking. It's 3.8 miles each way, bring a lot of water with you.

Great Pink jeep tour and tomcat/atv riding! fun, fun, fun! Great trails with amazing views of the verde valley and mountains/rocks. Vehicle trails well maintained. Have easy to extremely rocky trails.

All the trails and beautiful red rocks make Sedona a very NICE area to visit. We enjoyed this trail and found it well marked and not too difficult. Always wise to wear your hiking boots rather than tennis shoes as there are lots of rocks on the trails. Great photo scenes all around! ENJOY!

We did as many hiking trails as possible in the Sedona area, and this was our favorite. The group especially enjoyed the scenic view at the end of the trail. It is a bit of a climb and plan on about four hours to do the hike and take all your photos.

Wonderful visit, tricky to get a park in the small parking lot, just be patient and wait - you won't have to wait long, for a park. We walked the trail and on approach to the rocks, met a delightful Texan gentleman Robert (now a Sedona local) who approached us, giving with a heart shaped red rock each and sharing the story of the rocks, vortexes and why he was giving hearts to strangers on the trails. It was easy to spend time at each rock, absorbing the energy of the vortex.... and when I was just about to leave, I ran into an old friend from Australia (8,000 miles away) who I hadn't seen in years. How's that for synchronicity! Amazing place where amazing things happen. Just take your time and BE. Don't rush it! You could probably do the while thing in 30-40 mins, but we ended up spending a 2 hours and loved it!
