This is a moderate level hike up to a breathtaking natural rock bridge. I didn't have the courage to cross the bridge which is VERY high and only 5-6' wide, but my girlfriend did and I took some pictures of her while my legs were shaking! If you're afraid of heights like me, it's still worth a look and the hike is lovely and fairly easy except for the last 1/2 mile up which is pretty steep.

Thank Peter K

beautiful experience. Magnificent surroundings. Recommend hiking boots to support ankles. Good hiking shoes are also good. Some folks were wearing sandals. Watch where you're walking because one can easily get off on another trail.

This was a long hike...or maybe it just felt long as I was carrying a 20lb 8month baby on my back! Either way, the hike was relatively easy, mostly up-hill with some steep scrambles and "stair-cases" to climb. The bridge is pretty cool and makes for some great photo's! Definitely a hike I'd recommend.

The hike to the arch is quick and easy, and once there you look out onto what seems like a really narrow arch. Great photo op! it's not as scary as it looks. Great views.

The Forest Road did not look like something we wanted to do without a high clearance vehicle so we parked at the Chuckwagon Trailhead. This was a very nice hike thru shaded and sunny areas whereas hiking the road would have been boring and very sunny. It is apprx. 3.4 miles round trip to the Devil's Bridge (1 mile to the DB trailhead then another 0.7 miles to DB). The last of the trail becomes rocky and uphill then there are rocks to climb...not for the faint of heart but my husband who is afraid of heights managed it. It was amazing to see and has some spectacular views. You must do it at least once!
