Description: Dining under the shady trees on Olive and Ivy's massive patio feels more like Southern France than southern Scottsdale. If you are looking for pomp and circumstance of quiet elegance, try the signature private-dining venue, the Stamp Room. If it's night-life, we have you covered twice with the outdoor lounge and bar. You'll enter your own little Mediterranean world the first moment you set foot in Olive & Ivy.

I have been disenchanted of late with many restaurants, this one included, but on this visit it was firing on all cylinders - food and service. The coconut cake with blood orange cake is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. The waiter was being trained, but he was already a professional. I appreciate that. The food prices may strike some as high, but we have to remember we live in a resort town. Quality is good, fresh, at least as far as I can judge. What irritates me most in most restaurants are the alcohol prices - no wonder so many around us drink tea, water, or soft drinks...They are not outrageous, but it would be nice to have a bottle for 20$ on the menu, like Postino. Make a profit by all means, but don't go crazy greedy.

We ate here our first evening in Scottsdale. We picked it based on other reviews, and we were not disappointed. We tried the lamb meatballs and calamari which were both very well prepared. We had the sea bass and sea scallops entrees which were both extremely good! The service was excellent, and our waitress was very friendly and engaging.

My husband, mother and mother and law and I ate outside in the olive and ivy on Easter Sunday and really enjoyed our meal. The restaurant which is part of the popular fox group never disappoints. We had some cocktails to start and then moved onto a selection of salads- Greek and kale before having a mixture of lasagne, chicken, steak and the vegetarian humus platter. All the dishes were correct and of ample portions. The wine was also very good. All in all for a special family meal in a relaxed Phoenician atmosphere we would recommend.

Last week stopped in twice for lunch while on vacation. Light, casual fare that is tasty, well presented and priced right. Gluten allergy concerns were not an issue. Large patio overlooking the Arizona Canal is nice with trees making for nature shade. Relaxing place to eat and enjoy.

We had dinner as a large group and they were all over it. We had a pre-selected menu, yet they were flexible so everyone was more than satisfied. I would recommend this restaurant and the surrounding area for anyone wanting to host a larger group. The service was impeccable.
