Description: Dining under the shady trees on Olive and Ivy's massive patio feels more like Southern France than southern Scottsdale. If you are looking for pomp and circumstance of quiet elegance, try the signature private-dining venue, the Stamp Room. If it's night-life, we have you covered twice with the outdoor lounge and bar. You'll enter your own little Mediterranean world the first moment you set foot in Olive & Ivy.

“Great setting, fantanstic food”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

Arrived a little early for our reservation so sat down and had a drink before dinner in lounge. PS we had to change our reservation time earlier in the day and they were very accomodating.

Restaurant was busy but we found a seat in the lounge and were greeted and served immediately. We go a text advising our patio table was ready. What a great patio and a bonus this night as a live band was playing on the Scottdale waterfront. Started with a couple of appies, the Brushetta trio, Antpasta, and lamb meatballs. All were excellent, the Brusetta the best. My wife and I also shared a beet salad, which was very fresh and delicious.
For mains, 2 rib eyes, a shrimp risotto and the salmon. Again, all were excellent, mine was the salmon and I added shrimp. My wife, who had the risotto added the scallops. We had the Black Slate wine, not the most expensive wine, in fact reasonable priced, yet very nice.

By the time we got through dinner we were almost to full for desert, however we did find room for the ice cream bar, and four spoons.

Great company for dinner, great food, excellent service from Seth (who even arranged a golf cart transportation after our meal) and great location. Highly recommended.

“Olive and Ivy at Sky Harbor Airport”

The Sky Harbor location has the BEST breakfasts, especially the egg sandwich -- it is cooked in the pizza oven and has a wonderful smokey flavor. Coffee is great too.

“Great food. Great atmosphere.”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

Love Olive & Ivy!!! Can't say enough. Great food - different things you won't find just anywhere. Awesome bruschetta - have had them all, love them all. The prosciutto and fig is my personal favorite though, next would be the funghi (mushroom). Have had at least 75% of the menu items - all great. If you are truly a meat and potatoes person though you may find this place outside your comfort zone. Try it anyway! You won't be disappointed.

Decor and atmosphere are funky and upscale but not stuffy at all. Great outdoor seating next to the canals in Scottsdale. Wait staff has always been superb - friendly and chatty but always professional. Very knowledgeable about their menu as well. I strongly recommend a reservation because it is always busy - even on weeknights in off-peak season. They use Open Table so making your reservation on the fly is easy. If you don't make one you risk a long wait or sitting at the bar - not that that is bad but I think you miss out on the true feel of the place at the bar.

Go! You won't be disappointed.

“What a nice little place”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

My gf wanted some place that was organic or fresh, so after Maggie's Place 10k, we decided to try Olive & Ivy. I ordered the potato hash and it was very good. Potatoes, grilled onions and bell peppers, scrambled eggs with a peppery sausage gravy. The gravy had tons of flavor and it was just the right amount of food. This is a definite go to after a race event.

“Fun Place - Great food”
Reviewed October 22, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

If you don't mind siting at the counter in front of the kitchen, it's really a great treat. you get to see the staff at it's best and they are very happy to talk about what they do and how they do it. Kinda like being on the Food Network. Love the food and drink. Had a great time.
