Stayed for a week in December on business. My colleague and myself got bedbugs from both of our individual rooms. I would avoid this hotel until the problem is taken care of.

Dear MaggiePhilly-
Thank you for your comments about your stay at our hotel. We certainly don’t take your bed bug claim lightly and take the health and safety of our guests very seriously. Your safety and health is very important to us and we regularly inspect our guest rooms to make sure they meet our very high standards of excellence.

We have a stringent pest control inspection program in place with a leading service in the Scottsdale area and have not found any pests prior to your stay or since your stay. We also do extensive training with our housekeeping staff as to where to look and what to look for concerning bed bugs. If the pests are even remotely suspected, we call our pest control partner and determine the best course of action.

We are proud of our efforts in this area, which consistently rate at the top of hotels in national customer satisfaction rankings and are reflected in the loyalty of the returning guests to our hotel and the Hilton Garden Inn brand.

I do hope you will continue to stay with us the next time you visit Scottsdale.

Sincerely,
Afsaneh Torres
Director of Sales

Stayed here for a house hunting trip. Preferred this hotel over a resort as it was easy in/easy out of the parking lot, the building, etc. - without walking hundreds of yards to your room. Good spot for business trips, as Old Town is walking distance with a multitude of shops, restaurants and bars. Didn't use pools or other amenities but room was spacious, clean and restaurant served a great omelette. Did use business center- excellent to have a computer/printer/Internet access with no extra fees. Free wifi in rooms is always a plus.

KATX10-
We are so glad that you enjoyed our location and all that it has to offer. I am happy to hear that our complimentary business center and complimentary internet was beneficial throughout your stay. I do hope that you will have the opportunity to enjoy our resort style pool the next time you visit Scottsdale. We would love to serve you again in the near future.

Thank you,

We actually booked the wrong size room and when we discovered it and brought it to the concierge's attention, they immediately fixed it and upgraded our room. Bobby, the concierge was so awesome and sweet. He was a very jovial person and made you want to sit there and talk with him all day. i can say that each person working behind the desk were so personable and helpful.
Our room was just right. The only thing I would change is that the bathroom door, in the accessible room, is that it closed automatically and was very heavy, I couldn't imagine how someone who was disabled could hold it open and manuveur inside the bathroom.
Breakfast was so delicious!!! The laundry facilitiy was great and, although I didn't get a chance to use the pool or visit the restaurant, they both looked amazing.
The location of the hotel couldn't be better! We (my family of 5) were able to walk to all the great local shops and restaurants. For a wheelchair and toddler legs, that says a lot.
Staying at the hotel has made me determine to always choose Hilton Garden Inns first and my hubby and I are strongly considering moving to Scottsdale when he retires.

This is an average to below average Hilton Garden Inn. The rooms were small and the AC was very noisy during the night. Not sure why the housekeeping kept our blinds open when it was 110 outside, but the room was extremely hot upon arrival and took a while for it to get comfortable. The hotel is located within walking distance of Old Town Scottsdale and a short drive to the Phoenix airport and downtown. TV was below average andthe wireless internet worked very well. The fitness center was useless.

I used my Hilton points for this stay. If I had to pay the base rate of $160, I would have been disappointed.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and will be returning next week! If you want to stay in the Oldtown Scottsdale area, this is the place to stay! Great location and the hotel is everything you can expect from a Hilton Garden Inn and then some.

Stayed at the hotel on the final night of a family holiday prior to flying from Phoenix to the UK. We found the hotel quiet, the staff attentive and the rooms large and well equipped. The swimming pool was very good (and warm) but the pool towels were the smallest we’ve ever seen. The underground parking (self-parking) was easy to access. With a late evening flight, we found the late check-out (2pm) particularly useful. Drive to airport car hire base was around 20 minutes (be aware that free shuttle after dropping off the car takes several minutes to the main terminals).

The hotel is just across the main road from the Old Town (stores in an Old West-type setting). Interesting area to walk around with some good restaurants (check out the coupon book from the hotel which gets 15% off most). Would recommend a visit to the Sugar Bowl ice cream fountain / restaurant which has changed little since opening in 1958. The free trolley bus is also a good way to get around out of the heat

This hotel is fantastic. The location is amazing. You can walk to over hundreds of restaurants and shops. The room was really nice and bright. The staff was great. Front desk was very helpful. You can't beat free parking in this area!
