We met with friends from another part of the country - we both had our own 1 BR units. The units are very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well appointed. The dining room had a large table for 6 which would have been nice if 2 groups wanted to get together! Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is just okay.

Was interesting that our friends 1 BR had a couch and 2 chairs while our unit only had the couch and one chair. The couch and chairs are not comfortable. Also, try to not get a unit alongside the road. Its very noisy during the morning commute.

Pool and hot tub areas are very nice! Husband got a mediocre massage so I didn't bother.

Staff is very friendly - would return.

Room Tip: Stay away from the road! All other areas looked fine. 3 levels and no elevator

I read nearly all the previous reviews on this place and obviously so did they.
We are leaving now, after a weeks stay.
2 days before we arrived, they added FREE WiFi!
Yes, the place used to be apartments. The walls ate thinner than in a typical resort but still good because mostly people are respectful of others.
The playground is good. They have the rubber pieces for a base.
The pool is salt water and heated. Magnificent to go swimming in December while others are back home huddled around the fireplace! And there is an adult only area which has large hot tub.
The staff is nice and helpful, especially Stephanie, a concierge. Great tips on food and attractions to my specifications of "no commercial chains".
We had a 3 bedroom unit. Plenty clean. All the amenities we are used to in a resort. The beds were great. Yes, no fitted sheets. But we like to have fun, and we never lost the sheets. And the bedding is light enough but cozy and wonderfully romantic, especially since they're white.
There are large walk in closets in two time. We made one into a playroom/bedroom for our two small Gkids.
Only negatives to the place. Yes, there are NO elevators. But we asked for bottom floor and they accomodated us well.
Yes, some of the furniture needs updating, but none of us cared.
Yes, I recommend this place and I'd stay here again.

We went with our extended family for thanksgiving week. The rooms are spacious, well-decorated and clean. The 2 bedroom unit we stayed in had a pullout sofa and plenty of room for 6 people. The dining room had a nice big round table and the kitchen was well set up. The pool was large and warm. The kids enjoyed it very much. They have a little spray area for the kids to play in, a nice play structure, a barbecue patio and even a giant chess set. They have activities going on, multiple times per day, such as movies for the kids, a soduko competition by the pool and had a pie social on thanksgiving.

We stayed at the Links Resort the week of Thanksgiving. Everything was fine except for the cleanliness of the carpet in our unit and our pull out couch. The carpet was quite filthy, so much that our socks were black at the end of each day and we had to throw them away once we returned home. We have two small children that wanted to play on the floor and we tried our best to keep them off. The pull out couch was also dirty, when we pulled it out all sorts of food crumbs and other garbage came out. When I called the front desk to request a vacuum to clean it up, they front desk someone would be by the next day to clean it, which irritated me. Otherwise, the playground was nice to have on site and the pool was warmer.

We checked into the Links Resort for a week through Interval International. I was very impressed with the fast check in and the hard sales from Alan for timeshare presentation was not that bad as he backed off once he figured out you were not interested. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The pools heated and wonderful, the playground great, and the staff very friendly. My 3 year old son loved everything including the giant chess game but the splash park was the major hit.
The biggest irritation for us is that there is no free wifi. You can purchase wifi for $7/day or $30/week but even then it will only work on one device, meaning you can't have wifi on your phone and computer or tablet unless you pay multiple charges. That was annoying. The air conditioner was very loud but the overall 2 bedroom condo was very large, spacious and had everything that you could need for a week.

We checked into the Links Resort yesterday and are staying for a week. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The pools heated and wonderful, the playground great, and the staff very friendly.
The biggest irritation for us is that there is no free wifi. You can purchase wifi for $7/day or $30/week but even then it will only work on one device, meaning you can't have wifi on your phone and computer or tablet unless you pay multiple charges. In an age where there is free wifi almost everywhere, (even the Super8 we stayed in on our drive to Scottsdale!) not providing it seems cheap and outdated.
Other minor irritations, very few extra blankets even though the blanket on the beds is super thin, only providing enough detergent to run the dishwasher three times in a week, and no laundry detergent provided.
Also be aware that the resort is in the flight path of the local airport so several times a day very large and loud planes will be flying over.

This appears to be similar to a bait and switch. We paid the groupon offer, but upon checking in and one more visit to the office, a message on the phone, turns out they are selling time shares! The mattress was off the frame, we had to lift the king mattress back onto the frame! Bed was too hard for me, we left after two nights. The property is nice, the pool area is beautiful. But trying to turn our holiday into a sales opportunity was just wrong. They should have been more upfront!!

Room Tip: Ask to be close to the pool area. I told them I would be in a wheelchair, and they put us at far end...

We apologise to read that your stay was not as you would have expected it to be and we are sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced due to the timeshare presentation solicitation. We hope that this has not marred your general impression and you had an overall enjoyable stay. We hope we may have another opportunity to offer you the great hospitality experience we are known for; until then we wish you safe travels.
