“Nice Place in the middle of the desert”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

Hotel is located in the outskirsts of Scottsdale, in the middle of a very nice golf course. It has a couple of nice restaurants, and a very cozy outside bar. Service is very good, all employees very attentive to all your needs.

Only complain is that there is no restaurant to have breakfast in the hotel, and you need to go (with the complimentary shuttle) to the restaurant in the golf course.

Dear RS,

Thank you for visiting the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and the TPC Scottsdale. We trust you enjoyed your trip to Arizona and are pleased to hear you found our resort cozy and our colleagues attentive. Our apologies you were not aware of Ironwood American Kitchen, one of our restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, located on the lower level of the resort, near the South Pool. We hope your travels bring you back again soon!

Sincerely,.

I stayed here with my mother and husband in a casita during the holiday season. Everything was perfect. The check in was quick and painless. We were driven to the casita via golf cart which was a nice touch and necessary due to how massive the grounds are. The casita was amazing. Here is a list of all the extra touches that made our stay a memorable one.

* Heated bathroom floor
* Keurig coffee maker
* IPod docking station
* Cozy fireplace
* Huge closet with a make up vanity in it
* Turn down service
* Large walk-in shower
* Large mini bar with a great selection of drinks and treats

The hotel was decorated for Christmas. The lights were amazing. There is a train that tours the grounds, an ice skating rink, hot chocolate stand, and Santa was there for the kids.

We had room service for breakfast and it showed up exactly at the time we requested. The food was delicious and plentiful.

I look forward to staying at The Fairmont Princess many more times.

We have stayed at this property many times in the past and it never disappoint. It's a beautiful place with excellent service and lots of amenities. We staying in one of the casitas this time near the Casita pool and had an excellent room complete with fireplace and sitting area. The bathroom was very large. The bed was one of the most comfortable bed we experienced in hotels. The room was spotless and very quiet. We ate breakfast at the main restaurant on the outside patio overlooking the pool every day, very good and enjoyable. We didn't eat in any of the other restaurant. This hotel is located very close to Kierland Commons where we ate most night. Also, there is a Wholefood grocery within a mile where I ate many lunches.
I went to the spa one day and had a great service and excellent facilities. We'll definitely go to this hotel again.

Had the pleasure of a return stay of 5 nights (stayed here over Memorial Day also). The staff were wonderful...friendly and very accommodating. They were busy preparing the grounds for the holidays and we enjoyed watching the changes each day. We were still staying at the hotel on Thursday when they had their tree lighting festivities. We had been concerned that perhaps things would be over-run with the thousands who come to visit the hotel for the tree lighting, ice skating, etc. but the hotel managed the crowds well. So glad we got to see all the beautiful lights. And definitely worth a visit at this time of year to see these holiday events.

my girlfriend and I don't get to travel very often so when we do we like to stay at premium resorts. The Fairmont definitely did not disappoint! The grounds are very nice - reminded me of a few resorts I stayed at in Hawaii and Mexico. Both pools have cusioned lounge chairs and a few bars with wait staff walking the pools. The restaurants and bars have great food and drinks were mixed perfectly. The staff here is down to earth and very accomodating unlike other resorts of similar price range where they walk around like robots with no personality.
I can't wait to return again!

Booked a quick weekend to visit the greater Phoenix area and take in a football game in Glendale.

Hotel had the feel of a large "convention" location . Nice but not exactly personal or intimate.
Restaurants on the properties we visited were quite good and service was excellent .

The Spa was really nice

Next time will try something a title closer to Old town Scottsdale
