Every aspect of this hotel was excellent. This provided the getaway we needed! We have stayed at many fine hotels, but the customer service made us feel pampered the entire stay. The room was beautiful, the spa and pool were amazing and the dining was outstanding. We will always remember this vacation!

Room Tip: The Fairmont Gold provides an outstanding breakfast and afternoon appetizers.

A five star resort with exceptional property amenities. If you like a Hotel that can offer you acres of space so you don't feel squeezed into your room than this is the place. It also includes a world class spa with several top notch restaurants to enjoy. The pool is beautiful and large enough to again give you space to enjoy without feeling smothered. Also has a top notch golf course. We have stayed there several times and have never had a bad experience. The service was excellent, the concierge also was great helping us get tickets to the different sporting teams in town. You will not be disappointed.

I have stayed there a few times and am always impressed with the staff. They are courteous and accommodating. I even had a room service delivery guy (not on his way to my room) ask if he could get the ice I was seeking. Wow!! Certainly over and above! The housekeeping staff is also great. They were very responsive when a light went out in the bathroom.

Of course, the accommodations are first rate. We stayed in the Fairmont Gold area -- the rooms are relaxing and have two televisions: one in the bedroom and one in the living area. The grounds are beautiful, with a wide range of wildlife (bunnies, quail and ducks). Spectacular sunsets. With Gold -- there is all day access to the Gold Lounge, including a delightful breakfast and evening canapé service. Just writing this makes me want to go back!

Room Tip: 6424 is a beautiful Fairmont Gold Jr Suite with a golf course view and sunset views!

This is truly a 5 star resort. The rooms are unusual and interesting. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. They blend easily into the landscape. The family pool is well away from the adult pool. Service excellent Everything is high end, including services and prices. I understand the spa is also excellent. Charging for internet is a little petty, IMO, but hotel are just adding fees everywhere. You can easily spend days here without leaving the resort.

Room Tip: If you spend the money to stay here, take advantage of the grounds and relax

This hotel is very nice. Front desk staff was friendly, bell staff was friendly and cheerfully gave us a golf cart tour of the property. I recommend signing up for the free Fairmont Presidents club prior to your stay as you will receive some free upgrades. You receive free Wi-Fi, and free access to the poolside cabanas and beds. The poolside beds are awesome. I fell asleep more than once sprawled out on the queen size mattress. Feels like heaven with the surrounding palm trees and atmosphere. Drinks are pricey but so is everything else at Fairmont resorts. The Casitas are fabulous and make you feel as though you are staying in a separate condo. The housekeeping staff are wonderful and do a great job keeping things picked up and clean. The La Hacienda restaurant was fabulous.

Room Tip: The Casitas are very nice

Large sprawling resort somewhat remote location no shuttle. Room had nice balcony with view but shape of room resulted in tv on wall and unable to see from sitting area. Dated scuffed furniture , Sloppy housekeeping, glasses, towels soap missing and minibar not replaced on daily basis. Small central lagoons had unsightly debris harmful to wildlife and not cleaned. Very expensive meals in all restaurants with lackluster service. Be careful, a significant service charge is added to every purchase made at this hotel including a cup of Starbucks at the Starbucks small coffee shop. Smoking is allowed in public areas and cigars are sold at the restaurants. Cigar smoke spoiled the outdoor atmosphere at the central bar and seating areas. Nice wellness spa on property.

Room Tip: Check transportation options as car service from this hotel or rental will be helpful to explore the...
