I stayed three nights on a business trip and found this a very comfortable hotel. I especially like the floor plan of the suite, which allowed two of us to get ready at the same time without getting in each other's way.

The bed is wonderfully comfortable (some sort of downy pillow-top mattress). The rooms would benefit from stronger lighting as it was difficult to read in both the sitting room and the bedroom.

We ate in the restaurant one night; the food and service were fine, though quite slow.

The location is great...walkable to shops, restaurants, art galleries. I was surprised that the boutique shops closed at 5-5:30 even during the holiday season, so I was only able to window-shop after work. The nearby mall is huge and open later.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel due to it's location to a nearby club we were going to, to see a DJ we liked. This was a great place from the minute we walked in. The front desk staff was friendly and helpfull with suggestions on where to eat and how to get to the club which was in walking distance. The hotel is in walking distance of many restaurants and nightclubs, and only a five minute drive from Scottsdale Fashion Square, a major mall in Scottsdale.

We booked a two queen suite on the fifth floor. The view was nice and the beds were to die for!! Great mattress with a big comfy comforter, and nice pillows. I slept like a baby! Those are, without a doubt, some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The room was nice, large and very clean. The bathroom was large as well with a seperate shower and tub, it also came with two sinks, which is great if you are with friends.

We ordered room service and just got the kids chicken fingers since we were'nt that hungry. Seriously, they were the best chicken fingers I have ever had, no joke! lol.

The only thing I had a small problem with was that they had no free internet. It was $9.99 for 24 hours, and it wasn't wireless, you had to use a cable. I still paid for it.

All and all, this was a great stay. We only stayed for one night, and went to The Phoenix Inn Suites in Phoenix for the rest of the weekend. Was that ever a mistake!! (read my review on that hotel!) We kept wishing the whole time that we had stayed here!!

I stayed in this hotel for business over 2 midweek nights. It didn't rate very high in my book for curb appeal with its stark brick exterior, but it's what's inside that really counts, and this hotel is a very good choice.

It's in a great location, just across the street from Scottsdale's Old Town district, so it's an easy walk to over 20 restaurants and bars, varying in quality from good to outstanding. (I think I've sampled almost all of them over the years.)

As for the hotel, service was excellent. I always received a smile and a greeting from the staff. The front desk was prompt at check-in and check-out, room service arrived sooner than the promised 30 minutes both times I used it, and my one meal in the hotel restaurant, Allie's, was quick and error-free.

The rooms are all suites, with sitting room separate from bedroom and bath. There was plenty of room to spread out in the sitting room, which has a sofa, chair and workdesk (with its own chair), plus 27-inch CRT TV. There's also a small wet bar with an under counter fridge. (My room also had a murphy bed in the sitting room.) The bedroom contains just the bed, a couple of night stands and another, smaller CRT TV. The bath is split in 2, with tub, shower and toilet in one area separated from the sink by a pocket door.

The furnishings were fine, befitting a business hotel but nothing luxurious. Everything was clean and in an excellent state of repair.

The in-room Internet connection was provided via ethernet hook-up at $10 per day, but they provide free phone calls (and nationwide long-distance) as part of a package in that cost. Underground parking is provided free, and for business travelers who need to make copies or print documents from computers, there's no charge for the first 20 or so pages - something that saved me a bit of money on this trip.

Oh, and there's a Starbucks in the lobby for easy access to that first cup of Joe in the morning.

This hotel is a good value for Scottsdale. It doesn't compete with the full-blown resorts in the area with their spas and golf clubs, but its Old Town location and all-suite accommodations make it a very good alternative.

A clean well run hotel, with large rooms and a balcony and Staff were friendly. Big plus with scottsdale marriott suites is its location, easy and safe walk to old town with plenty of restaurants, also fifth avenue shops and scottsdale fashion mall.
If you dont want to walk then the scottsdale trolley stops about a block away and connects all the above every 10 minutes from 11am till 9pm 7 days a week and is free. For convenience and location you cant beat this hotel.

Upscale stay at economy price. This hotel offers an amazing value, located in the Old Town section with easy and safe walking to art galleries, shops and restaurants. While most of Scottsdale is busy roads surrounding gated communities and golf courses, this location actually supports walking.

The hotel itself is sparkling clean with excellent staff service. The suite is large and well furnished. The bed is the best we have ever had and the views from the balcony are beautiful.

We liked this so much we stayed at both ends of a 10 day Arizona road trip and would recommend it for either a short stay or an extended visit.

Really well equipped and run marriot in a great spot for wondering around the local town. Summer rates are reasonable and the staff friendly. Rooms and particularly the beds are fantastic.

We stayed here for two nights in September and really enjoyed it. The property seemed to cater to a business clientele, In fact it wasn't crowded at all. As stated earlier the pool is small but not crowded. Parking is free which is a big plus. The location is close to everything in old town. The only complaint I had about our stay was that our room was very noisey. We could hear the people above and beside us moving around in there rooms. Our first night it kept us awake until 1:00am. In all fairnes to the hotel we never called to complain. Keep an eye on the rates, we paid $150 a night for a King room that was really nice.
