When you walk into the resort you feel like you are walking into a 5-star all inclusive in Mexico or something.. Grounds are beautiful, top notch service. We didn't eat at the restaurants but heard they were great. Borrowing the bikes from the front desk to ride the green belt and to breakfast was a ton of fun. Room and beds were great. Will be back for sure.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and wished we had booked a longer trip. The staff was extremely friendly. We had one waitress, Kristen, that went above and beyond with recommendations about the menu and general advice about Scottsdale. The pool area was very well kept. There was music in the bar every night but you could get a table far enough away to hear the music yet still have a conversation. We look forward to going back.

There were so many mixed reviews on this hotel, The Marriott Desert Ridge and Fairmont Princess I wasn't sure where to stay? My friend and I were going to Scottsdale for a girls spa vacation. From the minute we walked in the door, I knew we picked the right place. The entrance of the hotel is very pretty (a little dated but very clean). The staff was extremely pleasant and we received margaritas as we checked into the hotel (nice touch). The gardens and pool area are well maintained and very inviting. Our room was right in front of the hotel entrance (4th floor) and I was worried there would be a lot of noise. Surprisingly enough, the fountain drowned out the noise and our room was very quiet. The room was clean and well appointed. (The mattress could of been a little more comfortable).

We ate at the cantina for breakfast and lunch, we found the food to be very good ( a little pricey, but good). There was a band playing nightly in the back lobby and several bars on site to chill out to. My one suggestion for the hotel is to have better snacks available while sitting in the lounge. There was a very spicy, sticky chex mix that I didn't like at all.

We used the work out room (clean and spacious) and joined the morning yoga class, which was very good.

The spa onsite was beautiful and had very attentive staff. The pool area, saunas and spa were very clean and quiet to relax by. Again, the snacks in the spa waiting area should of been better for the price paid for treatments. There were cookies, peanuts and dried apricots in bowls by the infused water. The cookies were awful and it would of been nice to have something fresh and tasty to snack on.

Overall, the resort was very nice and I would happily return again.
