“Good Food in a Fun Pub Setting”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This is a fun Irish-style pub buried in a sea of strip malls in Scottsdale. The food was quite good. We enjoyed the house salad and the cod sliders, which were crispy and a bit peppery. The only reason I gave four out of five stars was the service. Our server was a bit curt and slow to bring water, which is really a necessity in the dry climate of Scottsdale.

“Great Irish fun!”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We were able to get a table before the craziness of St' Pat's Day began after brunch, but we got the lunch menu and the corned beef was tender and juicy with little fat and was paired with excellent cabbage. The food was excellent considering the large crowds they were expecting for the afternoon. Their brown bread is so close to the bread made in Ireland, I would swear they shipped it in. This is also one of the only Irish restaurants I have been to that serve traditional boxty, potato pancake meals, excellent!!! Very family friendly and good hearty food that will keep you full all day long. Make sure you have time to check out the whole place, books, pictures and all. Evenings have wonderful traditional music!

“Favorite neighborhood pub”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

Best happy hour around. Great burgers and irish fare. The steamed mussels from the appetizer menu are the best I have had anywhere: tender, fresh, in spicy broth - my mouth is watering just thinking about them.

“Lovely place, good Irish music, and decent food”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Okay, it's not the most authentic of menu's for that there are a few other places i'd recommend for a greater variety and more authentic Irish meal in the greater Phoenix area. But, they have a few dishes that are quite good actually. One surprisingly great meal is the Seared Cod with Chorizo... you see what i mean no Irishman would be eating Chorizo in a pub in Dublin. However, what a tasty delight and well cooked, i know of no one else that serves this particular delicacy and for this alone i will always return. Service is good and nice design to the pub, outside seating is on an on ramp to the 101 bi-pass highway so it's quite noisy outside.
