To be fair, I understand it is a great lunch spot. Good salads, great service which includes sending nonalcoholic drinks with departing customers in "to go" cups", etc. that is for my wife and her needlepoint group. What I think is great is the breakfasts. I had a skillet and all are good. Two others at the table had scrambles and loved them. Fourth had banana bread French toast and declared it a great choice. It was national iced tea day so no one had the fancy orange juice this place uses as a profit center. This place is so popular it is hard to get in. Midmorning on a monday in June it was busy. Despite the crowd the service was great If you can get in it is worth it. The plaque declaring it the best breakfast is accurate.
