We have a time share in Scottsdale and had an opportunity to take an extra day at the front end and found this delightful hotel on a last minute booking app with an excellent rate for two rooms. The rooms were both on the ground floor with a patio and much larger than expected and nicely done true to the hotel's mid century vibe. It's a fairly large property but felt quite private. Had it not been so hot it would have been nice to have coffee on the patio. We spent several hours in the spacious but somehow intimate lounge with comfortable upholstered sofas and chairs to share some food (truffle grilled cheese and a burger both excellent) and cocktails. Our friend is a big coffee drinker and he never needed to request a refill. Cocktails were nicely done and with soft music (brat pack'ish) we didn't feel rushed or pressured to order more. After a great night of sleep a pitcher of Bloody Mary's by the pool made for the start if a very nice day. The only drop from excellent for cleanliness was a residual odor that may have been because the hotel is pet friendly. It wasn't overwhelming but anyone with a sensitive nose might need to ask for a reassignment. Our friend's room was fine.

I loved this place!! It is so delightful. I didn't know what to expect but I was truly impressed with this hotel. First of all, it is retro-modern (if there is such a thing). It is in impeccable condition yet has a charm from another era (1950's). The accommodations are outstanding. Room was lovely; large and spacious with the a beautiful bathroom. It had mood lighting in the bath area!! I must say the service was also excellent. Each interaction I had was super professional and truly service oriented. I ate poolside two times and was completely taken care of in every way. I am looking forward to a return trip to this fabulous hotel.

This is our second stay at the Valley Ho and we truly enjoy this quirky but relaxing hotel!! The food is really amazing with lots of homemade items on site such as the morning jam, orange juice smoothie, etc. The rooms are fun and very spacious with lower beds and very generous balconies. Some areas are quieter than other due to either street noise or pool noise, which can be bothersome. LOVE this resort!! Walking distance to all of Old Town Scottsdale restaurants, shopping, museums, river canal and even the mall...but not right in the "thick" of it all!

Room Tip: Avoid Indian School road noise and the main pool.

There is a lot that Hotel Valley Ho has to offer. It has a great pool, terrific bar and restaurant and a workout facility. I love the beds and the bathroom. The hotel is also pet friendly and at a reasonable price.

WARNING!! Do not book here. We went direct to the property to book. As stated they had a 20% mobile discount on a two bedroom suite. They had sent us pics of the room prior to booking. ( The pictures clearly shows two "full" rooms. upon arriving checked into the room to find ONLY 1 bed and NO private room. After making multiple trips to the front desk( Major lines over 20min standing) we were giving the option to upgrade? keep in mind we were already in suite ($400 per night). The option they gave us was another $190 per night for just the opposing bed. Overall the property is OK. they security and staff not the friendliest. In my opinion there are WAY nicer place to stay in the area.

We would like to address your claims. As described on our website, the Tower Suite has one king bed. Of all of the different images, there is one photo that shows the living room, and the door is open to the adjoining room, which is available at additional cost (as described). This photo is provided to show the option of a second bedroom. I personally spoke to you on the phone prior to you making your reservation for the same day, and I informed you that the Tower Suite has one king bed and that there is the option of a rollaway, so you were aware that a second bedroom is not included without an additional fee. The $400 nightly rate was for a premium Tower Suite, which has a full kitchen, living room, spacious bathroom, walk-in closet, and washer/dryer. The $190 rate was for a separate adjoining room, a Tower Signature Guest Room, which comes with one or two beds, a seating area, bathroom, and private balcony.
