Christmas decorations were beautiful. Cute stores. Many restaurants.. Loved The Mission for dinner. I suggest an evening visit if you are around at the holiday season.

We didn't realize that most stores didn't open until 10 so we wandered around aimlessly for a while but that's our mistake, we should have checked first. Really cool old west atmosphere. Perfect for tourists like us!

If your a local, you just pop in and out of these bars around Old Town, but tourists will enjoy Pattie's and Old Town tavern and the Rusty Spur. Try the Grotto for a cheap Italian lunch and skip David's and their corny free fries thing. Art district is dying fast, but a good place for chocolates is now open. Not a tourist trap, but very close, but hey that's why your here right?

Visited in November - weather was perfect. Went down at night and during the day. Lots of great restaurants and shops to check out. A must see when in the area

While it was nice walking around here it definitely needs improvement. Most of the shops seem to be repetitive and dated. We were here on vacation just two Weeks away from Christmas and there were few people out and about. The restaurants in this area make it worth the trip but don't waste your time on finding a unique item.
