We had wanted to have dinner at our hotel the night we arrived, but they were booked, so we searched for something else nearby, and stumbled upon Sassi. We were pleased to find Sassi - it has a mostly Italian menu, and it is all very nicely done. There are numerous rooms in this restaurant - so it feels quite intimate. Only complaint about the seating - it was so dark I could not read the menu - we scooted our table about a foot out and it helped a bit, but not much - looking up, a light which probably should have been shining on the table had been angled to the wall, so, maybe bring a keyring flashlight, just in case??
The food was very good, as was the service...until the end - I don't know what happened, but after the main course was served, we waited and waited - for the plates to be cleared, for a dessert menu to be offered, etc, etc - not enough to put us off from going again though. I'm willing to give it another chance!
