It's always hard for an iconic place to find it's new journey when a remodel is done. The place is very modern now and I think those of us who remember the old steak house appreciate the tribute in a few touches here and there. Where they are struggle is their menu. They have NO idea who they are. They lean toward California fusion bar food that actually isn't very good. Note to kitchen. When you check the pizza crust for done-ness BLACK is overdone and it can't be served. Send a server to the table and say "I am so sorry we overdid your crust and we're making you a new one". Patrons appreciate your honesty. On another note of the pizza the crust has absolutely NO flavor. Put some salt in the dough please. Having a "from scratch" kitchen is wonderful is the food is actually good but it's not. They can't figure out who they are yet. Interior is lovely but go back to a burger/steak southwest flavor menu profile and you'll do much better. Grimaldis is too close as is Daily Dose which is 100% better in the flavor profile. I love the Pink Pony and want to see it succeed but y'all need help!
