Elements is a high-end restaurant with great views and wonderful service. We didn't expect the view to matter since we went after dark, but seeing the mountains silhouetted in the dark with the sparse lights was just beautiful. The restaurant is relatively small and comfortable. It is a good place for a date or an intimate dinner party. We like quieter restaurants and were a little bothered by a loud table next to us, but mostly it is a quiet environment. There are some booths that are next to the window that seem to be more secluded, but we did not know to ask for one of those when we made our reservation. We were surprised that the menu seemed very limited. Only maybe a dozen items. However, everything we had was wonderful. My wife had the Hawaiian fish. I had the pork chop. I don’t often eat pork chops, but this one was wonderful with an Asian sauce. It was also really large, and I sliced it like you might slice a pork roast. For dessert, we would suggest skipping the sponge cake, which was nothing to write home about and go for the chocolate, which was fantastic. Our final comment is that the wine selection is wonderful. Bottles were half-priced when we went so we enjoyed a 2010 Opus One that was fabulous. We will definitely return on another visit.
