“Great dive bar in Old Town”

This place is a rare dive bar in Old Town Scottsdale. The inside is small but there is a good amount of patio seating in the back. Most nights include local live music and the bar staff has always been great, serving very reasonably priced (and strong) drinks.

What a little gem, live music daily and when I was here singer was very good. Lively crowd with outside seating area. Didnt see any food on offer. Only downside was Smoking outside which drifted inside.

Good selection of bottled beer, largers and craft ales, but no draught.

This is a very small and quaint little bar that is popular with locals as well as tourists. The lady bartender was wonderful, always had s big smile on her face and made you feel welcome. They have a large beer selection and the prices were reasonable.

We have stopped here during our shopping explorations on many occasions for a cool beer on a hot day. Convenient location, sadly no food. If I was just rating them on our recent visit it would be "1". We sat down and nobody bothered to serve us. I went up to the bar and was obviously an inconvenience to the bar lady who was busy stocking shelves - no other customers!!! If it had been our first visit it would be our last!! I realise it would be livelier and busier in the evening, but if they are open for lunchtime trade there should be some sort of service!!! Very disappointing visit.

Old Town Tavern’s interior is pretty intimate and the crowd was laid-back on an NFL Playoff Saturday night in January. The main bar is relatively small and the stage is on the floor at one end. There is an additional area outside along the sidewalk where you can hear the music when the windows and doors are open, and a separate area next to the bar inside with a big screen TV for games where you can also hear the band. In the rear, there is an outdoor patio for smokers with a large projector for games. We were towards the rear inside and could actually talk while the band was playing; this was very nice. Our server was very efficient and friendly. There was no cover but Pinot Grigio by the glass was $12.00. The good news was our designated driver had a bottomless glass of soda for $2.00. As Scottsdale bars go, this bar is non pretentious and a decent place to grab a drink and hear a few songs.
