“Micro Brewpub for Beer Lovers!”
Reviewed June 19, 2014 via mobile

Very small place set in a shopping center at Shea and Scottsdale Road. I have been hearing about this place for quite a while from other craft brew friends. The place is small, decorated nicely and you can see the brewing equipment inside the restaurant. Have a selection of seven or eight beers that they brew in house as well as a rotating selection of about 20 beers total from other craft brew houses. The menu is short, wood fired pizzas, a few salads, and some noshing plates as appetizers. We had a meat and cheese plate that was good and went with our beers perfectly. Then moved onto pizzas. We had The Carne, and The Popper. Both were good, the Carne was excellent. Our waitress was not very informative or friendly but I won't hold that against the place, everybody has an off day. All in all a good place for a bite and a beer. If you want something more than pizzas and salad, I suggest you come here for the beer, and eat nearby as there are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. They also fill growlers here for those that would like to take beer home.

“Fresh and Yummy”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

The salad greens and tomatoes were fresh and flavorful. Love the spiced nuts. The wood-oven pizza was hot, tasty, and delicious. Their beer was fresh, clean and they had a nice variety. Will definitely go back when in the area.

“Nice Local Place”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

Nice, friendly, local place to stop in for a salad, pizza, and local beer. The selection of both beers and pizza is pretty extensive for such a small place and both are good (no offense to the proprietors, but I have a hard time rating pizzas and beers as excellent.) Additionally, the starters (we had the bread/spread selection) and salads (we had the house salad) are a large enough selection to satisfy everyone. The restaurant has an outdoor seating area and the inside is open to the outdoors. I would come back again if I were in the area.

“Great Place”
Reviewed February 11, 2014 via mobile

A wonderful assortment of beers, both their own brews and guest beers. The beers are rotated on a regular basis, and something new is always in the works. The service was quick, attentive, and our server knew all about the beers. Our margherita pizza was outstanding and the wood fired flavor really came through. We consider this a must visit.

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

A waiter at a central phoenix restaurant told us about Fate and how good the beer and pizza were. So we happened to be in the are and found this cute little brew pub in a strip mall. First off as craft beer lovers we were impressed be the selection of their own beers and a nice touch was that they rated the ibu's on their selections! It was happy hour and beers were only $4 but we chose to try the oven fired pizza and man......the fennel sausage pizza was outstanding. Topped with lots of sausage and the thin crust was really one of the best we have ever had. We would highly recommend this cool place to anyone. It's worth the trip!!!!!
