Earlier this week a client emailed me about a lunch meeting, and I asked her to pick where she wanted to eat. She said, "Tom's Thumb Fresh Market." OK... The gas station? I like to hike the Gateway Loop, and have stopped at this gas station a few times for snacks on my way to the trailhead. But I had no idea they had a restaurant. I posted about it on Facebook, and people were RAVING about their BBQ sandwich. I ordered that, with a side of several different sauces, and couldn't be happier. It was fresh, the sauces were incredible, and the fries were to die for. It was an incredible dining experience. Plus, it was packed! There was a line to order food, and after noon you couldn't find a place to sit. I can't wait to go back and order another sandwich!
