Enjoyed our meal at Bandera while visiting Scottsdale during Spring training..
The place is open to the street, lively and loud. It is conveniently located and was walking distance from our hotel.
We had no reservation, so ordered drinks from the bar and sat outside on a bench. W/in 15 minutes we were seated.
Our server was pleasant and informative. Started w/the grilled artichoke, which came w/two sauces, excellent. Ordered Caesar salad and grilled chicken. Salad was well chilled and good, just lacked classic elements; no discernable anchovy, garlic, parmesan. Dressing was slightly sweet. In retrospect, wondering if It was the Caesar? Chicken was smokey, well seasoned, w/crispy skin and moist meat.
I suspect this place is always busy, but don't let that scare you off. Service was not rushed, but rather, attentive. They can handle a crowd.
