I chose Old Town Tortilla factory after reading great reviews about the ambiance and atmosphere. I expected average food, but did not expect the experience to be so lackluster. While the patio was pretty and the string lights set a nice ambiance, there was no music, and it just felt kind of dead. It might be that it's was the low season in Scottsdale (it is hot there in July!), but in general it wasn't as fun or inviting as I would have hoped. Also, the misters were great, but the girls who sat at the end of the table near them literally got soaking wet.
While it seemed like on many nights it might be a good place for large crowds, we just must have come on a down night.
In general, the whole experience was just average. The company truly made the evening. Not the food or the location.
