“Fine Gallery”
Reviewed April 1, 2012

Though much smaller over all than the main museum in Phoenix, the two galleries here are worth a visit. The selection of artifacts on display were quite attractive, well displayed and well signed. As the lady at the counter stated one could do the galleries in 30 minutes or take half a day. NON FLASH photography is allowed.
The gift shop had an extensive selection of souvenirs and was well laid out.

“Fine galleries, delightful cafe”
Reviewed March 31, 2012

Though much smaller over all than the main museum in Phoenix, the two galleries here are worth a visit. The gift shop has the usual Heard high quality jewelry and crafts. The cafe is lovely and restful, shady and cool, and the food is very good. We had a delicious late afternoon snack of assorted drinks and tepary bean hummus with pita bread. As the weather warms the cafe's hours are reduced, so check ahead if you intend to eat here.

“Lunch, shop and explore the museum”
Reviewed March 28, 2012

Not as grand as the Phoenix museum location, but a nice afternoon of lunching in/outdoors in the attached cafe, touring the native american museum, and closing with a tour of the gift shop, which has an impressive selection of jewelry, art, and books. Museum has reciprocity with other art museums across the country. A couple of hours well spent.

“Wonderful restaurant”
Reviewed February 24, 2012

Enjoyed a delightful light lunch sitting on the veranda. Excellent service. Have been visiting the Heard for years and really like the new North site. Made for a great day. Good selection in museum store. Did not visit the museum because had been to the main Heard Museum in Phoenix the day before.

“Don't miss their wonderful cafe for lunch”
Reviewed February 17, 2012

The cafe at the Heard Museum North is outstanding both from choices for lunch as well as service and location/atmosphere. While the museum may be average - especially because of the limited space, the cafe is outstanding. Salads and sandwiches are all VERY good and reasonably priced. Outdoor seating is available and lovely when the weather cooperates.
