“Great Evening”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

We had a wonderful time with friends at La Petite France in Scottsdale. Not only did we get to enjoy one of our favorite memories from France, but we also got to know the new owners of the restaurant. We all enjoyed our evening and we look forward to returning again sometime soon.

“SLOW-MO....”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

This little restaurant serves wonderful and traditional French fares (quite a few from Alsace), i will tell you right now, the food is delicious, authentic and well prepared, the wine selection is limited, but the quality and prices of the wines is great. I only have one problem with this place : the service...or should i say the absence of it! On multiple occasions, i ate there, i had to wait 5 to 10 minutes to get any kind of substantial attention, in an empty restaurant....Don't take me wrong, i do not care so much as i know the food was going to be awesome, but many other people do not feel the same guidelines concerning table attentiveness...The service is lengthy, sluggish, at time chaotic, when i mentioned it to the owner/waiter, he said in a few words that he didn't really need wait staff (lunchtime), i beg to differ, the lack of adaptation to American lifestyle is the killer for French eatery, operated by French operators, you are not in Old Europe any longer, things have to move on a timely manner...to wait 35 minutes for a lunch, no matter how great, will put a torpedo in your business....and if you think that making your patrons wait unreasonable amount of time for basic, yet delicious French bistro fare, is your standard, you should reconsider your approach and check Zinc bistro (300 lunches in 3 hours....). The last time , i went there i had soup, Alsatian tart and dessert, and sat there for 2 hours!!!!!I kept on watching patrons asking for water, the check, a waiter, if they could order, more bread, who was the waiter???????NON-STOP !!! so i know it is not only me, pay attention to your patrons, otherwise if you can stand the "airline-style" wait, great little joint.

Our second time around and we were reminded why his spot was on our list of must-do's. Lunch was authentic and very tasty. Prices reasonable for the attention to detail and great tastes. Superb!

A great escape to sit and enjoy a crepe, cappuccino and a book. The service here was outstanding, and the food was even better.
