“reat hike, stunning views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2014

How can you not like this amazing hike in northern scottsdale. The trail is well maintained, the hike aggressive because of its steep pitch and the views untouchable in the valley. Bring lots of water. The backside switch backs are not to be taken lightly so be prepared. Only problem with the park is that it has become quite popular and there are a lot of people on the trail.

“Nice hike with beautiful sites”

This is a moderate hike and provides some wonderful vistas. Bring water and decide how long you will be out on the trail. We did an hour and a half in and the same out which proved challenging.

“Great hike”

Saw a rattlesnake on the path. Great views, crowded though even on a weekday. Beautiful scenery and views, no admission price.

“Nice short hike”

The geography and views of the valley area are beautiful and makes this a nice hike to do on a weekend morning. However, . the park was packed with urban yuppy hikers with their Starbucks cups, water bottles, and the latest in trendy athletic gear. lol.

“Awesome views""”

This is a great park for hiking & jogging fans. It's a moderate course with plenty of ups & downs, but well worth it for the 360 degree views!! Have your camera ready!!! The higher you get, the more majestic the scenery! You will be high above the large homes built against the rock formations & cacti. Photos won't do it justice, but taking them is a must. The length of the trail is approx 2 miles each way but if you stop often to take pix, it gives you a chance to catch your breath. Overall, it's not to be missed!
