“Great new place”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

Went out the other night with some friends, and i was impressed. There are a lot of places to hang out in Scottsdale, but this is off the path, with out the "posers" you will find on Nth Scottsdale Rd or Desert Ridge. Great menu, and beer selection. I will definitely be back.

“Upbeat, realy very good -- but maybe not 'excellent'”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

This is a neighborhood restaurant on the south side of Shea East of 92nd St. It has been open for about a year. It is a bit hard to see from Shea (since everyone is speeding on Shea). The atmosphere is upbeat, yuppie, new, and a little loud. They always seem to have a crowd. One of the draws is the 'happy hour' which is reduced (but not 1/2 price) drinks and wine. And, we got a coupon in the mail for one free appetizer (about 8$) when you buy another. This does make a difference-- a 100$ check comes down to 75$. Overall, the prices are slightly lower than comparable places. The food is really quite good - -especially the eggplant dishes. But I would not say 'excellent' in most cases. They seem to use a bit too much garlic. The 'pumpkin puff' dessert was excellent. Service was excellent. Maybe the place is actually in the excellent category. At 7:00 pm on a friday night, you will need a reservation unless you feel like waiting on a long line to get in. If you come at 5:30, you will get in with no wait.

“Good food and fun”
Reviewed September 14, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I had dinner and lunch on two separate occasions. Service was very good and menu offers a good selection of pastas, paniniis, pizza. Full menu is availble at lunch and dinner. Enjoyed both the Caesar and misto salads. Paninis were excellent. Pasta was well done. All prices were very reasonable. Large and boisterous crowd at happy hour with good drink specials. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant!

“Wonderful experience”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

Excellent service, great food, good prices, what more could you ask for. The meatballs and steamed vegetables were very tasty and the pizza was also very good. The bartender was very friendly and had a lovely smile. There's a great atmosphere for friendly conversation. We were very happy with this place.

“Great atmosphere, great place”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

This is my second time at Stone and Vine. We had another great experience. I have to say the service was impeccable and the food delivered fast and piping hot. We happened to show up at happy hour so the drinks were half price. They had a small but good collection of wines. The menu is moderate but very pleasant, some great choices as we started with an appetizer of calamari - it was plentiful and it was almost a entire meal. I always have a great appetite and I really could not finish my pasta dish, so they very generous on the quantity of food. It seems to be more an an American-Italian menu than anything else. All and all a great experience and will be going back. Plenty of parking!
