Hi had the pleasure of staying at the Saguaro Scottsdale this past week and I have to say the staff is amazing!. From the Bell to the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping. At every corner I was greeted with warm enthusiasm. Every staff member seemed so happy to work for this hotel. The hotel is fun, and close to old scottsdale or a quick golf cart ride to any other destination. I will be back soon!!!! Keep up the good work Saguaro!

I was on a consulting gig for 6 months in Phoenix. I tried a number of hotels in Tempe and Scottsdale and the Saguaro is the favorite. Great pools, fun environment, nice exercise equipment, better than most. Staff is great, from the valets, the front desk, the bar and restaurant team.

Excellent closeness to old town and the scene on 5th ave at the waterfront.

A must stay location!

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor to get a patio

We were put up in this hotel and knew nothing about it before and were amazed at how beautiful everything was. The hotel and rooms all had great decor-lots of colors and interesting trinkets. Loved, loved the cacti on entry and landscaping in general. Service and staff were also great.

We first were in the hotel in April and had to return to Scottsdale in May. This 2nd time we were there for 8 days straight. The staff was again very accomodating and assisted with a couple of special requests. It's convenient for not only the restaurants and attractions around it but also there's a grocery store 3 blocks away for in room fruit and things like that. Ami at booking worked with us as did Devin at the desk. It looks like I'll be there again in a couple of weeks - 3 times, I think
13 nights since mid April to mid August. That in itself is a great recomendation. Maybe I should buy stock!
I would suggest a room, but I don't want our favourite to be booked.
Anyway, forget the huge cooky cutter resort hotels- stay here.

Got a great deal on The Saguaro though Snique Away. Thought the hotel website looked great, but didn't quite expect the reality to live up to it. Boy! Was I wrong.
The hotel is gorgeous. Vibrant orange, yellow, green and pink welcome you. The porters greet you in orange ts and orange sunglasses. Helpful, efficient and full of great local info.
The reception staff were also exuberant and friendly, giving us a much appreciated early check-in.
We were also given a free guacamole voucher which seemed a bit random - however, on later tasting the guacamole, I was so happy - best ever!!

The room was spacious and bright, well laid out with some very nice touches - lovely bathroom products, and pod coffee machine.

We chose to sit at the Picante Pool which is the larger of the two. Fab! Lots of comfortable sunloungers, day beds, a hot tub pool, great bar etc.

In the evening we had a few drinks in the Distrito bar before being dropped in downtown Scottsdale by one of the hotel staff in a Golf Buggy! Had we realised how close, we wouldn't have bothered, but the novelty value was great!

Lastly, my husband lost his mobile phone, and Tatiana at Reception emailed us as soon as a kind soul returned it to the hotel. Great service!

Thanks Saguaro! Fun times :-)

Stayed at the Saguaro for a work conference in July. Arrived early to a warm welcome from the valet Rick/ Ralph (?) wearing Raybands, and then welcomed in by Denise (?) at the front desk. Was accommodated with an early check in which I appreciated, and offered an option of their home made popsicles upon check in. (It was about 100 outside). After arriving to the room that was large, clean, and well designed I was also given a follow up call by the front desk just to ensure that I was happy with my accommodations, a really nice touch.

Thought the hotel was well designed, had inviting public spaces, great pool area, and attentive but non intrusive staff. Conference staff were the same, and eager to assist as we were a rather large conference. If I had to sum it up the entire team was accommodating, and comfortable so interactions were natural, and organic.

I also received a personalized hand written welcome note from the GM Mr. Klein, and little local tid-bits on cacti, and other local area specific info to play off of Saguaros location.

Thanks

The Saguaro is located in the perfect spot in Old Town Scottsdale. Within walking distance of bars and restaurants and one of the best pools in Old Town, The Saguaro is a great stay. We typically spend the day at the pool on weekends and have a few drinks while listening to live music. The pool is great, the crowd is social and the staff is awesome. The hotel has a very chic look with bright colors and modern decor in common spaces. The rooms feel more Southwest. The Saguaro did a great job of making this a great place to spend the day, the night or the entire weekend.

Dear Osuchris01,

Thanks for sharing your great review about your stay with us and your time spent at our pool. With live music and DJ's during the summer for our Swim Socials, our Picante Pool is a great place to hang and have some great drinks and Iron Chef Garces cuisine.

Thanks for staying with us, we hope to see you back again soon.
