Description: ‘Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana creates the truly authentic pizza experience utilizing the same simple methods that were practiced for hundreds of years in Napoli, Italy where pizza was born and perfected. Pomo's Pizza is produced according to the Neapolitan tradition where each pizza is a unique piece of art. We combine the slow levitation method to produce our homemade dough, all natural ingredients, and the Blast-Cooking process for 60–90 seconds at 905°C on our wood burning oven imported from Italy to lock in flavors, natural aroma and moisture. This gives the pizza a soft and digestible crust, which is the signature style of a true Napoletana Pizza. Our pizza is made from slow-rising sourdough with a minimum of 24 hours in the rising process. We are proud to be the First and Only APN Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani and VPN Verace Pizza Napoletana certified Restaurant in Arizona. We take Neapolitan pizza seriously and you will be able to tell with every taste.

We ended up here after learning our favorite infused oil dealer sells inside Pomo's restaurant. It smelled so good, that we sat at the outside bar, in the sun and ended up experiencing one of our most enjoyable impromptu afternoons.

After two ice cold Peroni's, we tried the pizza, but doubled the fresh mozzarella. Fantastic! It also heated up fantastically the next day on our outside grill (just put tin foil over it to make it time out right). What a great place!

The new location is bigger and in a fashionable shopping center on the corner of Scottsdale Rd & E Double Tree Ranch road, some 25 blocks further North. There is also a brand new market place adjacent, featuring good breads, fresh veggies and some interesting Italian cheeses and cold cuts. But the main attraction, as always, is the thin crust pizza they make. Don't miss the "Buffala", it's true mozzarella di buffala and real tomatoes. Ask for the pepper oil and drop some of it on the pizza, then sprinkle some Oregano and top all this with a cool glass of Prosecco, unbeatable!

Is this really Scottsdale? I thought it was PV, but no matter! We walked to dinner the other night and dined on the patio. Very chilly night, but ample space heaters made it more than warm enough to dine al fresco sans coats. We had a really nice salad with chix and 2 different kinds of pizza. Really liked the pizza though -- fresh/unique ingredients, thin/european style tasty crust cooked to perfection. Staff was lovely and attentive. This is gourmet folks so if you're looking for monstrous portions or lots of food for the $, this may not be your place. We left plenty satisfied, thoroughly happy with the experience and look forward to it in the spring too! Highly recommend getting their hef-w beer or duvel and a lemon italian soda -- mix the two. Refreshing spritzer and won't fill you up. Good food, good drink and lots of ambience -- we'll be back!

My husband and I vacationed in Scottsdale for a week last March. We ate at Pomo one night and it was so good that we went back on the last night of our vacation! Everything was delicious- the pizza, the wine, the desserts. It's a must try. Or a must try twice!

Couldn't wait to try the new location and we were not disappointed. Great looking urban interior and large outdoor area and bar. We liked the vibe and the food was delicious. We shared an antipasti plate and we shared a pizza which was more than enough food. The service was very good and our server was able to have them make us a half pizza with my toppings and the other half was topping selected by my husband. They will have a mozzarela bar and bread bakery which will be available to take out. The wine we selected was delicious. We will certainly go back as it;s right near us. Better make a reservation. It's very busy already.
