Hidden behind Taco Bell on the southwest corner of FLW Blvd. and Via Linda is a fabulous little restaurant. My wife and I had delicious meals of Koobideh-Kebab (ground beef) and Gyros (seasoned beef cooked on a spit and sliced thin). The meal came with a lovely Romaine salad with a special dressing that did not overwhelm our taste buds. Included in the platter was a grilled tomato (wonderful) and Basmati rice (yummy). Also, our waitress, Sara, thoughtfully answered all of our questions since we were inexperienced with Persian food. If you are on a budget, go at lunch time. Our outstanding meals were under ten dollars each.

“Stop and Eat Here”

Seek out his restaurant. The food is OUTSTAND, it worth a trip just to have the rice. Everything we ate was cooked with amazing care to flavors and smells. Do not pass this place by.

“Excellent Middle Eastern”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

I thought I had a good idea what Persian food was like until I cam to Pars. The 2 items that changed my mind is a soup - Ash Reshteh $7.50, mixture of fresh vegetables, noodles, pinto, kidney & garbanzo beans, spinach, herbs, garlic, parsley, cilantro & chives, topped with kashk (whey), fried mint & onion. And the other is a stew - Fessenjan $15, fried walnut, pomegranate sauce mixed with chunks of chicken & a side of basmati rice.

These are both very rich & really worth the trip to this place.
Cheers. JJ

“Nothing Special, Poor Service”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

I was excited to try this restaurant but after my first visit, wasn't impressed. Sat at the bar and was one of only maybe four or five people in the restaurant but somewhat busy with take out. The waitress was either texting or talking on her phone most of the evening. When the food was served, it was OK at best....even the basmati rice didn't have much flavor or taste authentic. The lamb was very dry and tasted like mutton, not fresh. Don't think I'll try again.

“Excellent meal superb service!”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

Loved our meal. First timers and would certainly come back. Unfortunately the server was working alone but I have to tell you he never skipped a beat. He made drinks, cleaned tables took orders and gave all his attention to his customers. We ate the Chicken and Beef Kebabs and the meat was tender, moist and cooked perfectly with a ton of flavor! We upgraded to the half salad with the basmati rice. For desert we had shared the Parsian Ice cream and it was delicious! Worth the extra calories. This was our halfway point from Mesa Airport on our way home to Sun City West. They had outdoor seating. The atmosphere inside was clean and welcoming. You won't be disappointed.
