Our rom was great and the staff was on purpose and helpful. Parking is a little confusing because of adjacent construction, but the hotel staff and accommodations are a value.
The Scottsdale Mall and many restaurants are walking distance. Check it out.

I think this was one of the nicest Best Westerns I've stayed at. I would stay there again. Excellent location in Scottsdale. It's very close to the mall with a Starbucks and quite a few really nice restaurants.

I have stayed at many Best Westerns, but this one tops them all. The rooms are ample in space, the decor is very nice, and the accomodations are comfortable. I received excellent service. My one negative is that the hotel is in the Entertainment District, so there are a lot of rambunctous guests who are drinking heavily without volume controls in place.

My wife and I planned a quick two day getaway to Phoenix centered around visiting the Chihuly Glass Exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens. We were not looking to spend too much money, but wanted a nice room and pool. We chose the Best Western Plus Sundial in Scottsdale due to the reviews and the price. We couldn't have made a better choice. The hotel was very clean. The pool inviting and the staff extremely courteous. Our room was surprisingly spacious and the bed and pillows comfortable. We are not generally fond of the complimentary breakfast, so scanned this one before deciding to stay and eat. Plenty of fresh fruit both as a fruit salad and then bananas and apples. There were French toast, breakfast burrito and oatmeal along with hard boiled eggs, yogurt and cold cereal. Bread for toast was high quality and the coffee Starbucks. The staff stayed on top of everything to keep it stocked with fresh items. A special mention to Sergio who offered courteous service above and beyond. We found our Scottsdale getaway from now on.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing Camelback Rd. If road noise bothers you. Our room in the back of the hotel was very quiet.

Overall an updated hotel with modern design. Hotel looks great during daylight, and has cool lighting (colors) at night time, however the main courtyard in front of hotel was very dark when we arrived (7:45pm). Also, there is not much signage for the address or name of the hotel from one direction on Camelback rd. Once you see the name/address, you have passed the only check in entrance. More signage for circle drive/parking lot from Camelback road will be good for future guests. Lobby and rooms were clean. The service at check in was friendly, however he did not seem to provide much effort when we asked about local restaurants within walking distance. He gladly talked about one of the nearby restaurants, but did not seem to put much effort into other suggestions or recommendations. The breakfast provided was clean and had great presentation. I would have liked it even more if there was juice provided (maybe we were early and it was brought out later). Convenient location for Old Town Scottsdale area and golf around Scottsdale. Beds were comfortable. Several bars/ bar restaurants within short walking distance and lively social streets/restaurants within 5 min drive. Pool seemed like a medium size, but well maintained and a comfortable pool side lounge area. Overall, the hotel has great appearance, it was clean, the staff was prompt and friendly, and had an updated, more modern feel than many other hotels in this general group.
