We dined at Talavera for our anniversary. As soon as we walked in the staff congratulated us.
The ambiance is really nice, the music was soft and modern, it's a nicer restaurant but we felt very comfortable. When we got our menus we had the surprise that they had customized them for us, each of our menus read "Happy Anniversary Mr. & Mrs. Ramirez!!" I've never seen this done anywhere else. We both had steak and mashed potatoes and it was delicious! The bread they give you was divine! At the end of our meal they spoiled us some more and gave us a complimentary creme brulee, it was perfect! We also had coffee and it was very good. This was by far the best experience we've had at any restaurant!

Fifteen years on and off visiting this property. Usually dine here for Birthdays and or anniversaries. As others have stated, one of the best outdoor dinning venues in Scottsdale. Beautiful veiws of valley and pinnacle peak. Our last experience here was below average, so we were reluctant to go back. So glad we did, Jason the assistant manager, and our waitstaff did a wonderful job. We were delayed a little to be seated, and Jason took care of our drinks. My wife had the Scallops, which were seared perfectly. The roasted pepper sauce and brussle sprouts matched nicely. I had the Sea Bass with potato gnocci, again wonderfully prepared. Highley recommend the lemon meringue cheese cake. Very light, and very good. Overall was nice to see the service, food and experience back to the high ranking it deserves.

Dining here was quite the experience ! The outdoor views were spectacular as was the food. I thoroughly enjoyed the Apple Glazed Pork tenderloin. It was the best pork I had ever had. The service was bar none and the overall experience was impeccable! Keep up the good work.

Because it was our last night, we decided to dine at Talavera at the Four Seasons. We were not disappointed. The meal was exquisite and the staff very attentive.

This is about the 4th time we have dined at Talavera and have yet to be disappointed by the food, service and ambiance. My husband dined on the Bistro tasting menu paired with wines; I had the Porterhouse steak, which except for some grizzled areas, was perfectly done and very tender. The parmesan mashed potatoes were nicely prepared and the lobster bisque was fantastic. The Iconoclast Cabernet went very well with my steak and the cappuccino was a nice finish to the meal. The only complaint we had was that there were two tables near us of very loud, inebriated people using pretty foul language. The management staff should have taken some steps to minimize this behavior but they totally ignored it. At some point in our meal, the only apology we received was from one of the diners from that group. I'm sure the table was dropping well over $1,000 for the meal and wine, but that is no reason to ignore boorish behavior at the expense of the other diners. We will go back because we love it generally, but management's failure to get this group under control left a bad taste in our mouth (they could have offered to move us to another location if they were intimidated but he group).
