Full kitchen, pull out couch, two rooms with two TVs, and two queen beds. The sink was outside of the bathroom. Included dishes. Complimentary breakfast and complimentary light dinner/snacks. Kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub. The pool had rafts and noodles. Close to shopping and olde towne Scottsdale. GREAT PRICE for what you get!

Visited for a mom/daughter outing and the property is beautiful! The pool was perfect in size and gorgeous! Rooms were spacious and very usable with a great kitchen. Property sits next to the Gainey Suites shopping complex for fun afternoon shopping. Breakfast buffet is excellent- what you would expect to find at a restaurant. The evening reception is a great value for a light dinner. Would definitely return!

My wife and I were married in May and celebrated our belated honeymoon at the Gainey Suites from August 17 – 23. From the moment we checked-in until the moment we checked-out, our stay was, in every respect, exceptional.

Upon arrival we discovered that the reservations manager had graciously upgraded our room from a standard courtyard studio to a cabana suite on the lower level. The room (1602) was lovely and the private patio overlooking the pool was a welcome surprise, as were the two stuffed bears!

Throughout our stay the room was cleaned impeccably, the daily breakfast and reception were absolutely first-rate, and without exception the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating.

As a former hotel and resort manager, I find myself hard-pressed to identify any areas for improvement. In truth, the only things I found lacking were a few small kitchen items, specifically a tea pot and kettle, a juice pitcher, and a couple of large plastic beverage tumblers.

In any case, I would recommend this lovely property without reservation and look forward to returning again next year, hopefully for a longer stay.

Room Tip: Insist on a room overlooking the pool and courtyard. If you can afford it, spring for a cabana suite...

We stayed at The Gainey for 4 nights just before the renovations were completed, so there was still some noise from construction & the Terrace patio bar was not open. As well there was a large group staying there for a reunion, they tended to monopolize the public areas - patio, lounge & pool, it was difficult to enjoy these areas on our own.
While the individual suite was fairly spacious & retrofitted, I'd say furniture, fixtures & fittings were nothing special. The bed & couch were 'ok' comfort wise. Wifi was free.
Nice grounds & pool area.
Complimentary breakfast buffet and evening reception were included but again just average, minimal selections. Food was not kept covered.
Just a short walk to the Gainey Village which has a few restaurant/bars if you don't want to eat at the hotel or drive too far.
Overall we give our stay an average rating.
There was nothing major to complain about but also nothing to rave about. I do believe families might find greater value here than we did.

I am very pleased to have heeded the previous reviews, and booked our room here for 6 days.. Everything we need is right here.. Breakfast, happy hour, pool, great rooms, with a kitchen in each room, and washer and dryer too. Awesome service by Jessica at the front desk, Julio at the bar, also Sheryl at the bar.. Minor quirk was a noisy ventilation system in the room. Thank you for keeping the rooms cleaned and freshened each day. I highly recommend your stay to be here...

Room Tip: they say 2nd floor is quieter...

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We were in Arizona to drop off my son at ASU for his freshman year and planned to stay a few extra days to relax & make sure he was settled in. It was the perfect location - not too close to the craziness of college move-in but close enough that it was easy to get back & forth. All employees were friendly and helpful. Suite was clean & very comfortable - first time I have stay somewhere for 6 nights and not gotten a little tired of it. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: Ask to face the courtyard - prettier views of the pool area.

Lovely rooms...well appointed. ..lovely swimming pool. Comfortable large beds. Nice linens...nice toiletry products. Good parking. Reasonably priced with two master suites and kitchen.

Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. ..not full breakfast fare but fresh fruit was sweet and coffee was good.

Had deal which included drinks..but was supposed to be one per person not one per couple.

Can walk to a number of nice restaurants.
