We are Four Seasons aficionados and this one matched all of our expectations. After an urban getaway at the Peninsula Chicago, we spent four nights with our five year old in a deluxe casita with a view of the valley.
The lobby and rooms were a bit understated to our liking (after staying at the opulent Peninsula), but the resort layout was spectacular. The service was one notch better - with most of the employees knowing us by name and going out of their way to please. The food at Acacia and Saguaro Blossom was good but given the off season, menu was a bit limited. Our son also enjoyed his visits to the KFAS (Kids for all seasons) which was closer to the residence club than the hotel. We checked out the club (pleasantly surprised with a $100 credit) but its not for us as we like to explore the new properties - I hear theyve taken over two properties in Lanai and the Big Island, and are building one in Bora Bora!
If you want pure R&R this is the place - we never left the property and had a great time in 110 degree weather. The service was TOP NOTCH.More
