Just ok but definitely not four seasons quality .

Pros:
Great tv and HDTV clarity.
Free laundry and laundry detergent. .
Fireplace.

Cons:
Our toilet had a leak and continuous wet in the grout in front of the toilet. At first I thought someone peed on the floor.
Had to put a towel on the floor.
Just did not seem as high end as other four seasons that I've been to. Disappointed.

The restaurant had a good view but food was ok , not great . There are much better steakhouses down the street.

Stayed: July 2013, traveled as a couple

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and providing us with your feedback.

I’m delighted to hear that you enjoyed our TVs, free laundry facilities and the fireplace.

I’m disappointed to hear of the issues you experienced with the toilet in your room. Please accept my sincere apologies. I have addressed this with the engineering management staff to ensure this is addressed.

We hope to have an opportunity to welcome you back the next time your travels bring you back to Scottsdale!

Sincerely,

Ben Shank

I have stayed here twice, and thoroughly enjoyed both times. I had a casita one of the times and a suite the other and I would for sure recommend the suite- it gives you a lot more privacy and space and is well worth the price. the outside part of the suite was the best bit- a private plunge pool and a table that was perfect for having breakfast outdoors.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the massages i had (twice) were some of the best i have had in my life. the hotel is a bit out of Scottsdale, so it isnt the best if you want to go out in the evening, but the advantage of being so far out of the centre is that you really feel like you are in the middle of the desert and the scenery is spectacular.
We tried both Proof and Talavera and were somewhat surprised that we actually preferred Proof, which is the more casual of the too, but seemed to have a more innovative menu.
The pools are great and the cabanas with the misters are wonderful, though the poolside did get quite crowded towards the end of the week.

Room Tip: Book a suite, I recommend one facing the mountain/ peak

A great resort in a beautiful setting with the wonderful service one expects at a Four Seasons resort. We visited in July when the temperature exceeded 105F - it made no difference to our enjoyment.

Room: The room was very well air-conditioned and the pool had many options for shade including trees(!), umbrellas and cabanas. If you are adverse to high temperatures, then you should try to get a room closer to the main building and pool. You can request a pickup to or from your room via golf cart but it seems unnecessary unless you are moving your luggage.

Dining: Both restaurants have beautiful views of the surrounding area including Pinnacle Peak. Breakfast is at 'Proof' which offers both buffet and 'a la carte' dining options - super tasty.

Parking: We did not use the valet service (though it's free during the daytime) and instead parked 'down the hill'. This was not much of an inconvenience for us but if you have mobility issues then you should probably just pay the valet fee.

Pool: We spent a lot of time at the pool and it was the one aspect of the resort that was not 5 stars. The adult pool resembles an apartment complex with an average depth of 4 feet. No swim up bar either! The bigger pool nearby was much better though it wasn't very deep either.

Attractions: Take an early morning hike up Pinnacle Peak - the trailhead is a short walk from the hotel.

Note: Only 4G phone in this area. (No LTE) WIFI signal is strong across the resort - but you should leave the work laptop at home!

Thank you for your review about your recent visit to the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale.

I was very pleased that you enjoyed our resort setting and our service.

I’m sorry that you were not satisfied with the depth of our pool and disappointed that there is no swim up bar. Unfortunately, we are not permitted to have a swim up bar, as it is against County health code.

Thank you again for your very detailed comments. I hope that we have an opportunity to welcome you back to Scottsdale in the near future.

Sincerely,

Ben Shank

Wow. Where too start? I had such a great experience. The pools were outstanding, the suites, the food, all great. the kids "club" was a huge hit. My kids had the best time there. It is everything in a resort you can expect. If there are any bad reviews on this, it must be a one-time problem. i wish i could go every day of my life.

We stayed in the four seasons in April and it surpassed our expectations. The warm welcome we received was great. We had requested a view with a desert view and were not disappointed.
The staff were excellent in helping plan our days out and we ended up having a private stargazing session which was a definite highlight.
We were not overly impressed with the breakfast but this was not a big problem.
We booked a picnic when we drove out to Sedona and received a call to say the cookie we had chosen was not available no big deal but we were very impressed when we got back to the hotel that night to find a plate of cookies and milk and a card apologising that they were not available earlier. A lovely touch which we didn't expect.
Hopefully one day we will be lucky enough to return to this part of the world and would have no hesitation in booking to stay here again.
