My wife and myself stayed 2 nights in Safford to do a little rock hounding and antiquing. We had a very nice stay in the small cottage.
As far as the accommodations go, we were quite satisfied. I was a little worried when I saw the sidewalk to the bakery went right by our bedroom window, but we were never bothered by noise from outside. The living area was clean and well kept. The bedroom small but the bed was comfortable. There was only a shower, no bath, and it looked like the grout could use a little freshening up.
The meals were delivered to the cottage, so you don't get the social interaction with the guests and proprietor that you might experience at other B&B's. That wasn't a problem, it was just different. The breakfasts were fresh and nicely presented. The french toast was very good, although I must admit that raisin bread would never be my first choice for that particular offering..
It might not sound it, but I do not want to be over critical. Overall, we enjoyed a nice stay in pleasant surroundings. We would stay there again if ever in the area, but we might be more inquisitive about what the breakfast would be.
