“Relaxing, wonderful resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

Forest villas resort is away from downtown Prescott, but close enough to be there in 5 minutes. The staff is exceptional. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast included in room price consisted of most anything you could want from toast to scrambled eggs.

Located a few hundred yards from the main Prescott highway (69), yet high enough above it to eliminate the traffic noise. Well kept grounds; pleasant seating area, amid colorful flowers. We upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi-tub. Hotel has a family atmosphere. A very comfortable lobby with plenty of seating available. The included full breakfast is first class. We've stayed there before; we'll stay there again.

We checked in fairly quickly after being greeted by what I would consider two strange hotel staff members. On our checkout one of the staff members seemed put off when I asked for an itemized bill. Other conversations with her were...strange.

The breakfast was sparse but fine.

The pool was ok...it has steep edges that are stone but that was not too big of a deal as our kids swim pretty well.

The AC had to run continuously which got loud at night.

The washer and dryer were inexpensive and clean.

This hotel has a lot of European-style "charm" in the lobby, as well as wonderful staff (thank you Susan and Kate!), great-sleeping beds, beautiful outdoor gardens/ pool area, and very quiet, clean rooms. It felt very safe here. And the prices are very reasonable.

My husband & I had stayed at a lot of different hotels in Prescott until we happened to find Forest Villas! We loved it from the first visit. The lobby is beautiful & we like that it feels like we walked into the past just by walking through the front door. The spiral staircase is perfect for taking pictures if you have the desire. Everyone working there has "always" been very nice & we have never had a bad experience. We go there so often that we feel like we've come home when we see our favorite lady at the front desk! The rooms are clean & the beds are so comfortable. We enjoy the beautiful view out the large windows while having breakfast & especially like that it sits off the main highway. It feels like you are out in the country. It's our weekend getaway hotel of choice.

Room was clean and gentleman who checked us in was nice. I wish the breakfast would have started earlier (starts at 7:00), we stayed 2 nights with 2 small chiildren and had to leave the motel at 6:30. Older female employee told my three year old to be quiet as we were walking out the door. He was just talking to his brother. I thought it was rather rude as he was not doing anything wrong. Also, went to check out on Sunday early morning and no one was at the front desk, just left my key. Probably won't stay there again.

Stayed for 1 night on a busy weekend when most of the hotels were booked. Good location. Adequate room size & necessities. Carpets felt dirty and old but otherwise clean room & comfortable bed. Very outdated (bathroom has a telephone next to the toilet, very 80's decor). Breakfast was ok. Would stay again if other options were not available.
